There is no room cleaning service, and you only get told about this on arrival! So I stayed here for three days. On day one, I had to phone for towels as none were in my room. On day three, I asked for fresh towels, more tea and soap and shampoo. This was in the morning, and they promised to take it to the room. This didn't happen. Unless you stay for 7 days, they will NOT provide any room cleaning service. Nice looking rooms, but service is non-existent, and the attitude on me asking what I'm paying for when essential hotel services and items are unavailable was that ‘it was stated in you're welcome letter’. I will not stay here again.
I had the worst experience . I spoke to a woman at reservations that I couldn’t understand so I hang up and redialed . Then I got a man that was the same and he said to call back as he didn’t know anything about booking . So next time I called the hotel direct and the plumber answered the phone … So I called again and got a very direct girl that was just so unhelpful in order to get a floor to stay with my son that stays there . Then we discuss the exorbant price of $260 and then for 2 single beds . But next week was only $160 and I asked why the huge difference . “ that’s what the price is “ Yep single beds in a so called luxury hotel .. very weird .. then I got there and the bad service continued with a guy in a suit that was just so bad mannered , arrogant and un helpful . I explained the situation and he said he would try his best .. that was just a dam lie as he didn’t I would like to say that all the words and hype they say on the net and their site is just marketing garbage Never again never again Craig…
The apartment was what we wanted to book for price, size, location etc however we had issues with dirty stained bed linen, stained mattress protector, stained towels, dirty floors, mould in bathroom, floor waste wouldn't drain and shower made a horrible noise. We received new clean sheets only to find them stained as well. Accommodation chains are using covid as the go to excuse however this doesn't make the grade.
We were staying here for one night before our first flight in years so looking forward to a great sleep in comfort. We were looking forward to staying here as we have before and it was fantastic. How things have changed! We didn’t make it through the night. The first room we were given smelled of cigarettes when we entered. The bathroom sink had hair on it which made us suspect that it hadn’t been cleaned properly. My husband then discovered a cigarette butt and ash on his bedside table. After calling up to reception who didn’t seem to know what to do, we grabbed our bags and went down to reception. After apologies we were given another room. After coming back from dinner at 10:30pm we could hear loud music from the room next door. After 15 minutes I called reception who answered after some time. They said they would send someone up to ask them to keep it down. We got ready for bed and then heard noise outside our door. About a dozen young guys were standing outside pointing at our room and going off, calling us c#nts and banging the door, complaining that they were having a birthday party and we shouldn’t complain. So whoever from the hotel spoke to them told them exactly which room had complained!! We felt extremely threatened. We tried to go to sleep but the music and banging continued so I again tried to call reception but it came up “out of service”!! So we packed again, got changed and went down to ask to be moved again. The less than concerned young man on the desk apologised and said he would evict them as there were no other rooms available. By this time it was 11:45pm and we were tired and upset. My hubby asked for a refund and we would find another place to stay. The reception guy said he was going to evict them now and I begged him to wait until we left because I felt scared of the repercussions. We got our refund and found another place to stay. I have travelled a lot but have never experienced such poor cleaning (especially when “extra” cleaning measures are the supposed norm these days). I have never experienced such fear either. We won’t return to this place. What a joke of a night and a poor start to our first trip in years.…
As a women traveling alone I have felt safe here. The apartment itself is quite good except i had trouble getting the internet and the TV to work in my room. I was told the IT people were not working and I had to wait but I could go down to the lobby, not an option when you have not slept for 30 hours due to traveling and your tired and just want to let family know you safe. The TV would not turn on in the bedroom they did send some up to sort it but it won't turn off so at night when going to sleep I just put it on mute, I didn't phone down no use they don't really want to help you. I went to the shops and brought a dish cloth as there is nothing to wash the dishes with, they say to please put rubbish down the rubbish chute but there are no replacement bin bags. Having suit cases from traveling upon check in I asked if someone could assist to get to my room I was told no I had to do it myself. On saying all of this its a clean comfortable place to stay just don't expect a lot of help. I should add its not a cheap place to stay so for the money I thought this would have been included.…
