I stayed at Meriton Mascot Central for five nights to see the New Year Cricket Test Match.
I have stayed here previously, so I know the facilities available, both on property and locally.
It is one stop by train from the Domestic Airport and two stops to Central rail station, the Mascot station is located a short walk from the property. The commercial centre has a large Woolworths supermarket with an adjacent BWS bottle shop plus a good range of restaurants and take away food places in close proximity.
The 1 bedroom apartments are well fitted out with a full kitchen, a balcony, two tv's, a washer and dryer with detergent supplied. The apartment was fairly clean and had a good range of cutlery, utensils, crockery and pots and pans for if you wish to do your own cooking which I did. My only negative was the shower, highly polished stone floor which became ultra slippery when wet, no non-slip mat provided and none available from housekeeping, this needs to be fixed. Either have the stone treated to make it non-slip or have non-slip bath mats available. Despite this negative I enjoyed my stay the staff were helpful andf courteous the room rate was value for money given the facilities provided and I will certainly return.

I only stayed overnight as I was in town for a concert. This area is a great alternative to staying in the CBD, which is often over-priced in my opinion. You're in the city within minutes on the train & it's fairly quiet even with the airport close by. Also perfect if you have an early morning flight to catch!
Check-in was prompt & staff were welcoming, efficient & friendly.
The apartment was modern, well appointed & clean, amenities were great and the bed was really comfortable.
The location is convenient & walkable to the train station/transport and a variety of cafes/places to eat & a Woolworths supermarket should you need supplies during your stay.
I couldn't fault the service or the accommodation, the price was really reasonable and I'd definitely stay again when next traveling to Sydney . Thanks for a lovely stay!

I stayed at the Meriton Suites Mascot Central from end of December until the 2nd week of January.
Positives: The hard product, i.e. cleanliness and decor of the room created a calm atmosphere. A slight issue is that the fire alarms in the rooms are very sensitive! It is a challenge trying to cook in these suites, I would recommend preparing to eat out a lot if you are staying here.
There are a lot of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance from the hotel, we did not have a shortage of food options.
The gym, pool and hot tub were very nice, the pool is not heated but the hotel provides towels and the hot tub is cleaned daily. The gym has treadmills, free weights, stationary bikes, lat pull down machines and other equipment like that.
The staff was at times quite accommodating, we had an issue where the bush fire smoke was seeping to our room. The front desk was accommodating in letting us change rooms. We moved rooms when we extended our stay a few days and they helped us move all our luggage into the new room.
Negatives:
Despite the accommodating nature of some staff, other staff could use more training. They were very inconsistent in our treatment. When we were checking in, the person at the front desk kept explaining the rates over and over again, this was a pre-booked hotel and at 10pm in the night I just want to go to bed. Especially with a crying baby. Empathy training for some staff would help improve the service here a lot.
When we were checking out, we needed a check out time of 1pm. Given our two week stay, issue with the smoke I expected that this would not be a problem. The lady at the front desk refused to grant this until a manager was brought into the situation. She demanded that I pay $100 to move check out from 11am until 1pm.
The hotel does a "full cleaning" of the rooms once a week and the hotel does a "light cleaning" every day. This was not properly explained at check-in; during our stay Housekeeping agreed to come perform a "full cleaning" but then backtracked saying that it was only done once a week. She has to demand that they come perform the deep cleaning on that day. The house keeping staff were friendly, quick and the suite was very clean when it was cleaned.
Overall, this hotel is great for short stay, I would consider other hotels for longer stays.

The hotel is perfectly located near the downtown and the airport. You can walk to and from the train and walk to many restaurants and the grocery store. The rooms are large, clean, quiet and have all the things that you need to live there - washer/dryer, coffee, tea, kitchen supplies, etc. The staff is very nice and helpful

The room was great, we had a room next to the outdoor garden so the view was fantastic.
The staff was quick to respond whenever we needed anything or if there was some issue with the room, it wasn't a big deal because they fixed it really quick. the room looked nice and I loved the amenities such as pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and the gym. the location was great because Woolworth was so close, anything was within walking distance and the train station is less than 5 minute walk.

First off, when we arrived at the Meriton Suites in Mascot Central, we noticed the luxurious and open foyer. We checked in quite early, and the concierge was happy to hold onto our baggage until we were required to check in. Once we got into the apartment we noticed it was pretty accurately depicted in the photos, the layout and interior design of choice was pleasant. The kitchen was fully equipped which allowed us to cook homemade meals sourced from the nearby woolies, this was great so we didn't have to Ubereats or eat out every day. Roof top, and high rise access roof access was great, the pool was easily accessible as well. Parking is paid for each full day and easy enough to access, only issue was on our second day the Swipe card stopped working for the garage so we had to Buzz up every time, we spoke to concierge and we had no luck fixing the issue with the card but access was easy enough through the intercom. Only thing to mention was the bin chute just inside the corridor on our level made the hall way smell quite bad every time we had to walk past it to our room, you can visually see that someone had spilled garbage liquid everywhere and it seeped into the carpet.
I recommend this accommodation for anyone having a short stay. The service was great, and they were very happy to help us. It's a short distance from the airport and not too far from the CBD. Parking is affordable. Lots of little shops and grocers nearby on the ground level.

I only stayed for 2 nights with them, but I so wished I have stayed the full week. The train station is really close by and it’s easy to get to the city and circular quay using the only train. The airport is a station away too but it costs $15, so I would recommend taking the bus at Stand B, it’ll cost you $2-$3. Plenty of eatery around, as well as an Asian store and woolies.
The room was gorgeous, but the room I stayed in, the aircon wasn’t really working in the bedroom and I had it in the lowest setting. Not a big deal though, considering the living room aircon was doing great. Love the fridge and kitchen, simple but easy to use.
The receptionists are all extremely kind and they let me check in early at around 11:30am!! They also allowed me to use their scales for my luggages and was allowed to take it into my room.
If you’re bored, you can walk to skyzone (an indoor trampoline place, about a 25 min walk) there’s a $10 unlimited deal that occurs on Monday. I also went to The Grounds of Alexandria, gorgeous views and if you’re into the insta life, this cafe is perfect. There’s a pool, gym, garden and observatory in the Meriton hotel too.

We spent 3 weeks in New Zealand and had one night in Sydney before we flew back to the UK. I have previously stayed here when over for 2 weeks business trips from the UK, so I knew to request a quiet room when I made the booking. Unfortunately, we were allocated a noisy room overlooking the main road, which made it difficult to sleep. The balcony was tiny and unusable, and the rest of the suite was compact.
Due to the COVID situation, we were told when we arrived into Sydney the previous evening that had to isolate and not leave the hotel before returning to the airport for our flight home at 1600 the following day. When we asked for a late checkout at the hotel for this reason, we were told that we could only stay until 1200 and it would cost us an additional $50!
When it was time to leave the hotel, I called reception and asked for assistance with our luggage - we have 3 suitcases, a bike box, and 4 rucksacks! 20 minutes later, nobody has appeared so we hauled it all down to reception ourselves. The lady on reception didn’t apologies, but merely informed us that they were busy but it looked liked we’d managed so she’d take it off her list!
Really disappointed with the room & service, and will be recommending my company remove the business from the supplier list for future travel.

Consequently, waiting times for luggage assistance and other request have extended due to limited resources. We do our best to avoid any impact on all of our guests experience and I’m sorry we were not successful in your case. Your feedback regarding the relaxed departure is duly noted and will be reviewed by management, however we are quite flexible and do provide that first hour complimentary when availability allows. We have stayed at Meriton Suites on Coward St several times previously and the service quality and stay was excellent. We held the same expectation for our stay at Mascot Central. The carpark machine started by saying it was full but we were let in when we buzzed for assistance. Check in we were greeted by the lovely staff and the process was quick and easy and we booked for a King suite. Unfortunately as we entered in, we immediately noticed a sticky residue across the floor, carpet and furniture. There was bits of food on the couch and dining chairs. The bathroom didn't have toilet paper or tissues stocked and was missing towels. I cleaned up some of the gummy residue off the floor but it was no match for hand sanitizer and tissues. We called guest services to let them know, they were quick to apologise and send someone up with the items and to clean. The cleaner was polite and saw to it, it honestly made a difference to the suite environment. We appreciate the service of the cleaner and guest service staff, I just hope that next time (considering the "precautions" of covid) the suites show that they followed protocol and are clean and tidy :)

Hi there - sorry, I don't know if there's a charging station for electric vehicles - for some reason, I don't think so but best to check with the hotel
