Have stayed multiple times with the family over the last 10 or so years. Fantastic location convenient to both ocean and harbor beaches, the ferry , multiple bars and cafes and supermarkets. The apartments are clean , spacious and comfortable though the beds are a little soft. The 1 bedroom apartments are roomy enough for a young family of 4 and the in room kitchen and laundry are modern and clean . There is a small gym but no pool but with swimming available across the road at the harbor beach its not a problem. Parking is available and is charged these days at $25 a day - the parking is also quite spacious unlike many hotels where cars are packed in tightly. Staff are friendly and helpful and help add to the friendly charm of the Quest. Highly recommended.

Could not fault the location of this property - walk across the road to the harbour beach and a short walk up the Corso to the surf beach. Plenty of choice for restaurants/cafes nearby. Noise at night is quite loud but the soundproofing is excellent and once we closed the doors we were not bothered at all. Loved sitting on our balcony taking it all in. Car parking in the basement is $25 per day which is totally worth it - parking in Manly is a nightmare at the best of times. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a leak in the bathroom from the washing machine and housekeeping staff were very happy to provide extra towels. Bed and pillows very comfortable and kitchen was tidy and clean, even ice in the freezer ready to go. Would highly recommend this property and hope to return again very soon!

My husband Steve and I stayed at Quest Manly last week (3-9/1) for our honeymoon. We both recommend staying at Quest Manly if you are holidaying on the Northern Beaches.

From the get-go when we arrived, the customer service we received at reception was warm and welcoming. The housekeeping staff were super friendly and left our room look immaculate every day, which was lovely to come back to every afternoon.

The location of this accommodation is great - being literally a minute walk from our room to the ferry/ bus stops and across the road from The Corso. It meant that we could easily pop out quickly to get a meal or head off to an attraction without worrying about having to walk 500 miles to the nearest public transport. Being so close to the ferry meant we were also able to have a 'late' night out to go see a drag show and get back to the accommodation quickly and safely.

The room amenities were great too. We enjoyed having the kitchen facilities so we could cook our food when we didn't feel like takeaway and we were even able to do our washing in our own separate washing machine and drier, which takes stress about having to do all the laundry when we came home.

All in all, we recommend staying at Quest Manly if you are holidaying in the area. You receive the best of everything at a great price. We'll definitely be staying here again when we next stay. :)

Apartment was spacious & spotlessly clean. Much cheaper than big hotel chains overlooking Manly cheap but not lacking at all so excellent value. The fact that we could leave our car in their car park after check out was a real bonus (we jumped on the ferry to check out Watson's Bay). Location across the road from ferry at the end of the corso was fine for us as we enjoyed walking around Manly.

Manly Quest is on the wharf side of Manly and our room offered a lovely harbour view. If we wanted to swim at Manly beach it is a 5 minute walk down the Corso but being off the main beach means that the cost is a little less. The ferry and bus terminals are across the road. The unit itself, very comfortable for a 10 night stay. Comfortable couch plus dining table and chairs. Full kitchen and laundry facilities and supermarkets Aldi and Coles are a 2 minute walk away. The only negative for me was the over bath shower which I now find quite challenging. Water pressure for the shower is not great between 8 and 10 but other times of day it is excellent.

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to give Quest Manly such a concise and positive review. Just for your future reference, we are in the process of updating some of the apartment bathrooms so that we can offer a walk in shower instead of the shower/bath combo. We have a few apartments that have undergone this renovation, so next time you stay with us, please request these rooms and we will do our best to accommodate you. Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you again.

We went over to Manly for a Sailing regatta. I picked this hotel as the price was better than the other hotels I was unaware of the location although when we arrived we found that the parking was included in the price and after consultation we the very helpful gentlement on the desk at the time we parked the car and headed to reception. That was faily easy also we went up to the one bedroom apartment we had booked and it was a good size. Very clean we were on first floor we opened our balcony doors to the view over manly harbour it was beautiful great for my husband as he could check what the breeze was doing and we onlt had to walk across the pedestrian and we were at the rigging park. The location also has some great restaurants for breakfast and dinner. It is an easy walk to Manly beach if you dont wont to go to the beach at Manly harbour side.
We had a wonderful stay at the quest would highly recommend this Hotel

We attended a wedding in Manly and chose to stay at the Quest for 1 night. It was perfect for our needs. The room was very clean and the bed comfy. We chose a harbour view room and had a great view of the beach, ferries and harbour. The harbour beach is across the road, so easy to go across for a dip.

There is no breakfast service (at least none was offered), but that wasn't a problem as there are heaps of cafes. We chose to use parking at the site - at $25/night it's a bargain in Manly.

Staff were friendly and helpful. It's worth noting that there's a bus stop outside the hotel, but we didn't hear the buses when our balcony door was closed.

Whenever we come to Sydney we always stay at Quest Manly. The transport facilities mean we can travel to the city or other places without any trouble. The parking area is efficient and not too pricy for the area. We are always sad if Quest is booked out and we have to stay elsewhere.

We had booked 2 one bed apartments for one week for a family holiday. Some other family members had major problems with their accommodation in another property and so we needed 1 , one bedroom and 3 studio apartments at short notice (that day) The check in staff could not have been more helpful and provided all the help we needed.
The rooms were spotless and comfortable and all the staff were friendly and helpful during our stay.
We were concerned that noise may have been a problem, located so close to the road and ferry terminal, but this was not the case.
Just a really nice place to stay.

Close to ferries and buses, but bus and street noise can be a problem. Cleaning staff start early and can be very noisy in their staff quarters and the corridor. Not ideal when on holidays and wanting to relax in the mornings. The apartments have good cooking facilities and ammenities. Beds are comfortable. Television is tiny - more suited to a caravan!

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and positive rating. We take pride in the fact that we are in one of Sydney's best spots - right on the waterfront, directly across from Manly Wharf, and in the centre of a bustling, vibrant suburb. Due to our prime location, there is always going to be a little traffic noise but we have found that our guests are often happy to close the balcony door which provides some respite. I am sorry to hear you found the housekeeping staff noisy. This is unusual as their can do attitude and customer service is outstanding. We appreciate constructive feedback and are looking into replacing our televisions over time but we do find that most guests are out most days enjoying the beach and restaurants and the television is not such a priority. We look forward to welcoming you again and are happy to ensure your next stay is away from the housekeeping room.
