Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very pleasant hotel/motel in a convenient location to the northern suburbs of Sydney. The service was pleasant, kind of like a family run establishment. The dinner in the restaurant was superb. Breakfast was a more mixed experience - we’re not convinced yoghurt should be combined with the avocado in the smashed avocado dish, but that might be a personal taste matter. :)

Stayed two nights while daughter was having surgery close by at Sydney adventist hospital, very convenient location with good parking. Rooms are clean, modern, and quiet, we really appreciated the super comfy beds and the big tv which was easy to chromecast, plus free wifi. Shower hot and pressure amazing, yay. Would stay at again, thanks.

After making a booking via wotif I received a cancellation notification. I had contacted the front desk prior to make payment for my booking but was told “No, no,no you pay booking when you get here”. Maybe staff should be better trained to answer phone calls.

Stylish renovated rooms and amenities. The common areas and restaurant are really lovely spaces. Had a great stay here and would return. Close to the golf course and shopping. Staff are all friendly and go out of their way to assist you in any way.

Recently renovated from the old Killara Motor Inn, this motel has some real advantages - clean rooms, a great location ~10 minutes' walk away from the Lindfield station, plenty of parking just off the Pacific Highway, and a terrific little restaurant serving up-market Japanese cuisine. Disadvantages of highway noise and external access to rooms (although well protected by a roof) are minor downsides, but you might ask for a room at the back with views south-west. There aren't many options if you are staying in the central north shore area - Chatswood and Macquarie are further away and much more expensive, and few local pubs offer accommodation.

Enjoyed our stay here even though it was only for one night wish we had more time. We stayed in the Queen Delux Room which had everything you would need, was very clean & fresh. Found it to be very quiet at night & the Jacaranda Restaurant on sight has very good meals. Also they have parking for free. Staff were excellent and Kali was brilliant made us very welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Looks a bit dated on the outside but beautiful renovation, restaurant gorgeous and rooms modern and clean. Staff were so helpful, gentle and polite. Only down side was the parking which was cramped and difficult to manoeuvre but would recommend.

My wife & I stayed at Killara Hotel & Suites for the first time, 1 week ago. We arrived late at nite, cold & tied to a warm & very inviting space. The room was clean, spacious & modern, with a comfortable bed & well appointed bathroom. The hotel was conveniently located for our travel purpose & the undercover parking was good. The price was reasonable and we will use this hotel again.
