Just returned on March 26th and we had a fabulous time. No americans stay here at all. Lots of Mexicans and Canadians, mostly Albertan's although there were some from BC and Sask. We stayed in Cocos 1 which is close to the beach, so is Cocos 5 and 2. Cocos 4 is across the road bigger rooms there with sitting...

As a first time traveller , I was very pleased with the hotel.Yes it is an older hotel and the rooms could use some updating, however for the amount of time you spend in the room it was ok.The staff were friendly, helpful and if not able to speak english(alot could) found a fellow staff member that could help you.It seemed...

This is an ideal resort for those who like exposure to the local people of Mexico. Many Mexicans from out of town were holidaying there. The weather was perfect and resort itself, though 3 star, delivered an excellent level of service and standard of food. It was particularly clean and the public areas were constantly being mopped etc. It is...

We just returned from a week at the Decameron Los Cocos. It was ok - certainly not a luxury hotel by any means, and we found everything to be pretty basic. We stayed in Cocos 4 which was nice, but for some reason children were allowed in the adult pool. Lots of stairs,as we were on the third floor (75...

We had a great time and for the price we paid (700$ all in from YVR) we would go again. If you care about rooms, this is an older hotel (we had keys with room #'s stamped on them and a chain lock on our door!) but we don't really care about the look of a room. We stayed in...

1st time here and will go again and will highly recommend this resort. Love that it's all Canadians and mexican families on vacation. Just a quick observation, we met a very friendly French Canadian family at dinner with their teenage son-they were not the norm. We ran into several who were not friendly at all, from butting in line, to...

This was my first time at an all-inclusive and I will definately return. Hopefully sooner rather than later. The entire vacation, through Nolitours cost $690 CAD and was worth every penny. My friend and I were picked up from the airport and driven (all included in the above price except for a tip) to the resort. We arrived just in...

The Hotel is dated but very clean. Good Food. The staff are very friendly and try to please you the best they can. We got in at about 3am and they gave us a boxed lunch. Not great but it was a nice gesture. We tried to get a late check out or rent a room for an extra nite...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
On the picturesque Bay of Rincon de Guayabitos in the state of Nayarit, just 55 minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport amidst a typical fishing village, Hotel Decameron Los Cocos is the ideal place to experience the most spectacular family holiday. Its white beaches and crystal clear water contrast with the bright colors of the hotel's architecture. We have 4 pools throughout our installations, 3 of which are suitable for children, and over 100 meters of beaches. Experience the international and typical dishes you can find at the La Bamba, La Canoa and El Tropical Restaurants, or enjoy the most delicious drinks at the disco or at the bars on the beach, like La Iguana and Pelicanos. During the day you can enjoy different recreational activities like non-motorized water sports, kayaking, sailboats and a catamaran, a massage parlor, and tennis, basketball and beach volleyball courts. ... more   less
