We have stayed in a lot of hotels in this price bracket and they were all much better furnished, cleaner and warmer. They are nice people, but we rang before booking to explain that I have allergies and check if it was a suitable venue. We asked about bedding and everything. We were promised that we would be in a...

This is a proper manor house set in the rolling countryside of mid-Wales. From the initial drive through the grounds up to the impressive front door, you just knew that this hotel was a quality establishment. The room was huge and very well decorated with period furniture, and a well appointed bathroom. This is a family run hotel, Jose and...

We arrived after Christmas and stayed for almost a week. Despite the constant rain we enjoyed our trip to Wales and part of this was having the hotel to ourselves for most of the stay. With two boisterous boys, being able to let them run about without annoying other guests was great. The rooms are certainly large and well decorated....

Having decided to go away for New Year choosing the Norton Manor again as the place to go was not a difficult decision. Jose the manager was as friendly and helpful as ever, answering all of my emails promptly and being very flexible to accommodate our needs, he also kept us fully informed of all that was happening at the...

This beautiful country manor house has been transformed into a wonderful hotel by the present owners. The building is set within a stunning large country park. The hotel is in very good condition and gives the guests a glimps into the gentryfied past. The hall, stairwell and landing is a site to behold alone. The staff at the hotel are...

We arrived unexpectedly but the manager was warmth itself, lighting the fire for us in the bar, and chatting whilst we were served coffee and a complimentary mince pie. A lovely interlude! And set in beautiful surroundings.

From the moment we arrived at this jewel of an hotel we felt relaxed and cherished. Help with carrying in luggage, a tour of the delightful facilities, and then we were taken to our lovely room (beautiful views over the idyllic parkland, with sheep and cows peacefully grazing). We spent two nights here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it...

We stayed for a weekend and were warned by the management that there was a wedding on the second night of our stay and that we might not want to come. We went anyway and could not have had a better time, the wedding not affecting us a bit. The room was excellent, the food and service superb. We will definitly...

We stayed for two nights in this lovely and charactered hotel. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the room was comfortable and very spacious, with a nice modern bathroom and super views of the countryside. The food in the restaurant was delicious and not overpriced. We will happily stay here again.
