What an unexpected pleasure. Grandmas Garden is such a splendid suprise and an ideal retreat from the rat race.... but i dont want to give away any secrets. The manager, Frank, is very proactive in addressing any issues and is the heart of the hotel with his down to earth humour and sarcastic wit. In fact all of the staff...

We stayed at the hotel for one night as we had done a charity zipline during the day, and had booked to visit King Arthur's Labyrinth the following day. I'd booked a family toom for 2 adults and 3 children. When we arrived the room wasn't quite ready as additional beds needed to be set up, but the staff are...

We're booked in to stay for a week in July and thought we'd pay a visit beforehand and have Sunday Lunch. It was excellent, as it should be. Generous portions for all three courses and for £15 absolutely brilliant. Staff were cheerful, polite and attentive without being intrusive. Beautiful setting and we look forward to our July visit, though we...

Off the beaten track but well worth the drive. We stayed for one night. Breakfast was very good - my poached eggs were perfect! Staff were welcoming and polite and not in your face. Our room had a balcony overlooking the hills, and the bed was really comfortable. All in all a clean and welcoming hotel. Would go back when...

After spending a few days touring ~North Wales, we arrived exhausted. Frank was warm and welcoming and showed us to a large and extremely comfortable room. Dinner was exceptionally good and beautifully served. I only wish I'd had the foresight to make Plas Dolguog our base for our trip. However we will return and soon. I can't recommend this hotel...

We had the wake for my Brother in Law at the Plas Dolguog Hotel, The buffet that was supplied was spot on, very tasty, & later in the evening we had a meal as we celebrated my Sisters 60th Birthday. That too was delicious, & tasty. The staff where excellent & made us most welcome, & later this year we...

Stayed at the hotel with family as we were attending a funeral for a family member. Frank went out of his way to make us all feel welcome taking the time to talk with us on a personal level. The views in the area and from the hotel of the hills are very peaceful and inside the bar is well...

We visited the restaurant of this hotel on a fact finder for our next holiday and were not disappointed with either the hotel or food. Although the hotel was quiet in November, we had a very warm welcome and were showed immediatly to our table for dinner. Local lamb and beef and a selection of local fresh vegetables, we couldn't...
