After a lush weekend in Borth we headed back to home and in the way back we got peckish. Whilst driving along starving we came across the Penrhos Arms offering all day breakfasts and home cooked food who could ask for more? We had a lovely welcome and the food was ace, the locals are friendly and the beer is...

After seeing the advert for this pub/restaurant we thought we would take a ride out for lunch. Mondays was advertised as a special 2 course lunchtime meal for pensioners. Although very polite the waitress said that due to insufficient people taking up this offer it was no longer available but checked with the chef who said he could do 2...

Went here for a night away The pub very comfortable & warm, very rustic with visible oak beams. Lovely quiet night sleep. Full breakfast in the morning Only downside is that the wifi doesn't reach very well into the bedrooms

Lovely building/setting. But waited over an hour for a very average meal! Unfortunately will never visit again due to this experience. Also had to ask for gravy as hardly any on roast dinners we ordered! Very disappointed.

Whilst staying at the nearby treehouse my husband and I used the Penrhos arms to eat as it was local. The service was spot on. With the stuff being friendly and attentive. Especially Ryhs. Who was a lovely host and had some great local knowledge. The food was nice. And portion sizes very generous. Having eaten at many a pub...

This Inn is close to where we stay in mid Wales. There has been a dramatic improvement in the food quality, pricing and the atmosphere is now friendly. We used to avoid the place but it's now a pleasant place to be. Congratulations to all the staff for turning it around.

We stopped here at about 3:30pm on a Sunday on our way home from North Wales. It was a relief to find somewhere that was offering food all day, including a roast. We were made very welcome & had a beef and a lamb roast dinner. We had good portions of meat, lovely vegetables & more gravy when we asked...

Our party of three stopped here for a late lunch. We all had the roast dinners, two beef and one chicken. The beef was very tough and the vegetables overcooked. Overall we were dissapointed with our meals. The service was good and friendly.

We had been staying in Liverpool for the first part of our holiday and were looking for somewhere to stop for a coffee on our way to West Wales. We stumbled upon the Penrhos Arms which looked lovely, it was mid-morning so was empty. The friendly staff served our coffee and it was very good. It is a very pleasant...
