Had a great stay, great value for money! Our loft room was great and lovely and warm; with self catering which was useful. Breakfast was very good and the owner was really friendly! Would definitely think about staying again.

We have checked into this pretty country house for 4 nights. Upon arrival we were impressed by the scenic view of their beautiful English garden and cozy interior. The room and bathroom is clean though the water for the shower runs a little too slow. The sitting area for guest in the upstairs is lovely, one can sit there to...

Stayed for 1 night in August. Had an email from the owner early in the day to see what time we would be arriving as he wanted to go shopping, but a time was arranged and a nice lady met us. We were shown to the room, which to my amusement had 3 single beds.......ummm, generally thought a family rooms...

From the minute Anne welcomed us we knew this was no ordinary B&B. This a beautiful house and the décor certainly appealed to us. There is the most amazing garden with a pond and a lake. Two gorgeous parrots reside in the garden. Our impression of Pen-y-Bryn was that it was a very generous - no stinting here (eg coffee...

Stayed here for a night whilst we visited the Hay Literary festival nearby. The lady who runs the b&b is very welcoming and the b&b is charming. It is full of travel mementoes and quirky items which add to the character. It is set in nice grounds complete with parrots and a little pond with ducks and geese. It is...

A lovely bed and breakfast ,set in gorgeous gardens, on the edge of the pretty village. There are two excellent pubs a short walk away for dinner. The lady hostess looked after us very well and the breakfast was perfect. We stayed three nights and will definitely return. They only take cash or cheque and there is no cash point in...

Had a lovely stay at this nice b&b near brecon. Host was very hospitable. Having had issues with the shower we were upgraded rooms as soon as we notified her. Would definitely recommend and come again if we're ever back in the area.

The place has a warm feeling about it and is clearly a lovely family home, situated well for anyone wanting to explore the area. The breakfast was great and The Castle pub down the road serves good food if you want to eat locally. My only observation that isn't positive would be that despite its warm and welcoming atmosphere, I...
