We enjoyed our stay at this lovely place. Room was very nice and scenery was stunning. Breakfast and evening meals were delicious, and we loved the walks our host recommended. We will be coming back! Thanks for a wonderful stay Helen!

A gem of a B&B in the heart of Mid-Wales. The view across the valley, from Staylittle towards the Hafren Forest, is stunning. The facilities are excellent. There's plenty of room for a family, but I have used Rock Villa as stop-over for business trips. Helen takes great care of her guests. The breakfasts are superb. I am vegan and...

A very short notice one night stay at Helen's lovely Welsh upland cottage. Helen can cook! Breakfast was worth 6 stars and kept me going all day. The cottage (and breakfast) is beautifully presented and has an unfussy and classy feel to it. I was the only one staying that night and was given the 'front' double room with a...

Stayed here the night before a mountain biking event, and found everything to be just great. The meal we had was delicious, and I had great company from an American couple and our host Helen. The room was very comfortable, and I had a lovely view over a field full of sheep. I was even visited by a little bird...

This was a perfect stop off while cycling Lon Las Cymru / National Cycle Route 8, which passes through Staylittle. There was safe storage for my bicycle. The whole place is incredibly tastefully decorated. I was staying in the small single room, but this was really pleasant, and the extra touches, such as fresh milk, biscotti, fresh coffee made all...

It was our first time in the Llanbrynmair area. We are avid hikers and I am a photographer, so we were very excited to explore the beautiful area. We were greeted on arrival by Helen and her boxer Monty. Helen made us feel like family, and Monty acted like we were his favorite people in the world. We fell in...

Right from the start Helen had done everything to make us feel at home and to make sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. On the evening of our arrival we had opted to join for a (delicious) evening meal - which I can highly recommend - but due to traffic we didn't arrive until quite late....

We were walking the Glyndŵr's Way and arrived soaked from heavy rain at Rock Villa. The place turned out to be magnificent, the host, Helen, has shown great taste by adding the right furniture and artefacts to the old house. We loved our room, the Chapel Room, straight away ... the white linen, the view, ah. The rain did not...

A two night stay for a fishing break at Llyn Clywedog. Excellent location for a visiting angler located just a few minutes away from the lake and access to both sides of the water. Superb room with brilliant country views in a peaceful and relaxing location. Very welcoming and comfortable with first class home cooked meals on both evenings as...
