We stayed in The Hawthorn lodge. Hot tub was cleaned everyday, accommodation comfortable, clean and well thought out. Any negative reviews on here should be taken with a pinch of salt, some people clearly don't understand what a 'lodge' is. We would definitely return to explore further. Thank you!

I stayed here with my family for 2 nights away, there were 8 of us. The surroundings are beautiful and the views are stunning, the staff are very helpful and friendly, the cabin itself is very dated. The lounge and dinning area are comfortable and spacious however the beds are very old and lumpy or hard plus very small, the...

We've stayed at Penllwyn Lodges on multiple occasions over the past 10 years - a great experience every time. The cabins are fully kitted out with everything you need for a self-catering break, and Newtown/Welshpool are a short drive away for anything else you'd need. We've stayed in the height of summer and the depths of winter - we've always...

Stayed at the Captains Lodge for a break with family and friends. The size of this lodge was perfect the 7 of us. (4 adults/3 children). It has two large double rooms upstairs, both en-suite with walk in wardrobes and one has a balcony. The downstairs bedrooms are both big with plenty of room...one has bunks and one is a...

We stayed in The Murray Lodge at the end of march, a family of 7 (7adults) and our family pet (labrador 15years old). Really enjoyed our stay at the lodge, beautiful surroundings, however after having checked out on the friday of our stay, received a phone call a few days later accusing our pet of causing damage to the sofa!...

I never reply to trip advisor comments but I feel that I need to respond to this person. We have enclosed photos for this site and I would like any viewers to have their own opinions. I do not know how they would like us to have handled this (perhaps just forget about it) as we contacted them by their...

My wife and I stayed in the mini lodge for 5 days during the schools’ February half term break and had a wonderful, relaxing, refreshing and peaceful time. Considering its categorization, the lodge was quite spacious, whilst maintaining a charm, intimacy and general coziness/ hygge. The view, from the gallery window, was exquisite and we were able to sit inside,...

We've stayed here twice before and couldn't wait to get back. The Hollies lodge is just the perfect little hideaway for a romantic few days and we love it. Even the wind and the rain couldn't put a downer on the weekend - we will be back again!
