I was invited to join friends for a meal at this hotel. I ordered Lasagne and chips but got Lasagne and salad. A friend mentioned this to the waiter - he was lovely - and he went to get chips. The meal was OK, not great, but OK. I went to pay on leaving and was charged £13.45...I was in... More

Stayed for a night on business and found large car park, friendly staff, and recently refurbished room. Meal in the bar was very good, all home made and tasty. Breakfast was served quickly and well cooked. Shower powerful and hot. All my boxes ticked!

This is a reasonable hotel, a little jaded and old fashioned but perfectly sound for a couple of nights. The bed was comfy and room/linen clean. Smelt a bit musty though. Good size room and plenty of hot water. Tea and coffee in room. I was on the top floor a bit of a walk with a case. Free wifi.... More

Thank you for taking the time in writing your review. We are rather surprised on your comments regarding your room, as many guests request rooms in the 40's. The Hotel has been upgraded in stages within the Hotel, but has kept its traditional 1625 character in other areas of the Hotel. However we are pleased to learn that you enjoyed... More

Had a great evening meal on the weekend. Great menu was tempted by a few dishes but chose duck with plum sauce. Cooked fresh and well presented. Friendly staff reasonable prices. Have stayed there in the past and would definitely visit again

Just back from a 2 night stay. Room was huge, very clean and comfy. Have to mention the very friendly staff, they were lovely to my 7yr old grandson and very understanding when my partner and I missed breakfast after being out since 6am helping friends prepare for their wedding. They still fed us! Thank you 😊

Stayed with my colleague for three nights here so that we were able to attend the Pembrokeshire show. The rooms are spacious and of a high standard with all amenities available and working. Very clean. The service was impeccable - professional yet naturally friendly and jovial. But to cap everything the food was brilliant! Superb locally sourced food and the... More

Lovely large clean room and friendly staff. Great for business or leisure stay. Nice Rose behind the bar and food was excellent. Little boutique attached sold some nice items I had a little shopping spree before leaving.

The food is top notch, the beer is good with several real ales on. The staff are friendly professional and attentive. A great place for staying on buisness or for pleasure. I read one review which complained of the uneven floor in the bedroom. As the building was at around in 1729 it is entitled to have a few quirks!... More
