Me and my partner came here for Sunday lunch, it was awful! My food was cold, when I asked for it to be heated up, a member of staff put his fingers in the food (which was a carvery) infront of everyone. Two members of staff then started laughing loudly and starting hitting each other with tea towels and messing...

Booked via telephone for single room with breakfast on Jan 1st. I had to check out at 7.30a.m. and breakfast was not until 8.00 so was not going to be there for breakfast. I was told I would get some sandwiches to take with me before I left. On my arrival, this was confirmed. However, it was not to be...

Good afternoon, I am sorry that your stay was not as you would have wanted, most people enjoy their stay with us at our very competitive rates, indeed the rate you paid was the best in Haverfordwest for your stay. I am at a loss regarding the sandwich as this was placed at reception for you to collect but was...

Ths hotel has recently been taken over and the new owners are gradually making changes and improvements to service and decor. Our room was very comfortable and clean, with good linen on the bed. We ate dinner in the restaurant on 2 nights and also the carvery on Sunday. The food was delicious and well presented, a big effort had...

The county is under new ownership. We ordered drinks and paid for our food at the bar (which smelt old and musty) before entering the dining room. Once seated we proceeded to get our food, lovely selection of meat & vegetables. The waiting staff could do with a little more training and a lot more oomph! Nice food but not...

We were booked as a group for lunch and found we were the first to arrive, got the impression they were not ready, but tried to sort our drinks out first. The barman was busy changing barrels for 10mins and we ordered tea for one which came without a cup and we had to chase staff around for a cup,...

I know the hotel has recently re-opened after a change of ownership and some refurbishment - It is so wonderful to see such old buildings, full of charachter...

Sunday lunch is a carvery which was very good, we optede for the main meal and a sweet. What let it down was the poor choice of sweets, chocolate fudge cake which I didn't see so can't comment, jam sponge pudding which you get everywhere and comes froma cash and carry and a supposed apple crumble which was small, mostly...

Family room was excellent, plenty of comfortable clean and well maintained rooms. Beautiful old style furniture and Grandfather clock on the stairs with a very inviting and intimate bar area. A complimentary and delicious breakfast. Could not have asked for more.

Room 11, 22nd to 23rd October 2016 This charming, listed Hotel on Salutation Square (!) is, I believe under new ownership, and it is clear that the new owners have made an excellent start. The public areas are very inviting, with leather chesterfield sofas and lovely polished wood. Check-in was easy thanks to the assistance of a very professional Manager,...

Required a neutral venue for a business lunch and was so happy we chose the county. All 3 of us ordered the fish and chips which was absolutely fantastic. Massive portion of fish which cooked to perfection and lovely homemade chips (none of the frozen rubbish). With new owners in place and with a growing reputation for fine food (...
