We stayed overnight at the Skirrid Mountain Inn to experience the atmosphere of the oldest inn in Wales. We were not disappointed. We arrived a little after seven to a bar with a large log fire and a warm welcome from the staff. We were shown straight to the table. Everyone was friendly and we soon settled in. The ten...

We visited the Skirrid Mountain Inn for dinner, really good veg curry. The bar area tells the story of the inn on wall hangings and we sat near the fire. The Staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the buildings history was fascinating. Definitely recommend.

Managed to book the night here, they are booked for months, so felt very happy & we weren't disappointed. Food was great, the people were friendly, helpful & went that extra mile for us & the building was amazing. I have never seen so many Orbs in one place. Well worth a visit.

Expected more from this establishment . The menu was pretty basic as was the food. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It's a lovely old place steeped in history, which is its main attraction, along with the haunted bedroom! It's probably still a nice place to visit and sit outside on a Summer evening

our first visit to the Skirrid Inn. 6 adults 2 well behaved children so not the easiest of groups to cater for but from entry to exit the staff were fantastic. a young gentleman with enviable hair greeted us, catered for our every need and was kindness and helpfulness personified. The food wasn't Michelin but very well presented and tasty....

lovely place. room 2 is said to be the most haunted but on my visit room 1 was fantastic, the cell was cool, bit noisy in there for an investigation but we did get some responses. love the creepy fella on the stairs. like the fact the original hanging beam is still in the building. very friendly and welcoming staff....

This pub is reportedly the oldest pub in Wales at 900 years old. It was lovely. The service was brilliant. So friendly. The meals were fantastic and the history of the place. Wow! There was even a hangmans noose in the pub! somehwhat eerie, but very interesting. Try it out!
