My husband and I arrived tired and hungry, only to learn that the kitchen wasn't open. No matter! The owner promptly made up two of the best ham sandwiches ever. We enjoyed the local vibe so much that we went back for a second visit. After two months of touring the UK, we found this to be one of the... More

Ip rebooked a family group to celebrate a birthday party by phone, the girl was helpful and told us to come for 12 o clock,we had drinks in the bar,and told the bar man who we were.there was no provision for our group, the dining room was dark, and not set for a group booking, after a hasty moving of tables we were told... We went for Sunday lunch (2). On arrival we were welcomed and asked what we would like to drink, unfortunately the phone rang so we were ignored. Later we were shown to out table, nice and cosy. Order for starter (brie) wasn't available so we chose fishcakes, or should be written as singular. Main course was really good, a bit... More

Went here today expecting lunch as advertised on board outside "food served 12:00 to 14:30". Four of us waited at bar (we were the only people in there) for 5 minutes for a reluctant guy to serve and state there's no food. You clearly don't want to be there, I recommend you take your signs in and lock your doors...permanently!

A very good filling breakfast. Plenty there. With toast, tea or coffee and orange juice.well worth going back. Kevin the owner asked us if we wanted our juice topped up ? But unfortunately for me, I was to full. Good value for money.staff very nice and helpful.

We paid £70 for a room which didn't include breakfast even though the pub is marketed as a 'B&B'. My partner opened the catch on the window and the whole pane of glass fell from the top story to the road below. We moved to a much smaller room even though this event was very dangerous, there was no sign... More

Cannot fault the food and service in this lovely little Welsh country pub. However on paying we were told that if we used a debit card we would be charged a pound. We paid as we didn't have cash and I don't think there was a cash machine in the village. Unfortunately the pub suffered here as we didn't leave... More

Stumbled across this little Pub whilst visiting Tywyn for the 1st time. Cracking atmosphere accompanied by a juke box, pool table and reasonably priced good home cooked food. Very child friendly and we'll worth a visit. Recommend you book as gets quite busy. Definitely would return in the future.

Stayed at this lovely old hotel for two nights on a bank holiday weekend. We were very lucky to secure a room as we didn't pre book, as we were unaware it was a bank holiday. Thanks Sue for a lovely two nights at your pub. The room & breakfast was great. Most appreciated, Trev & Mary. Australia.

This is our second visit to this area of Wales and again ate each night at the excellent Peniarth Arms, where we still found a good choice menu. Thank you to Kevin and his staff for making us very welcome, yet again and if we are in the area in the future, the Peniarth Arms will be visited without a... More
