Stayed here one Sunday evening in late January. Enjoyed a nice drink in the downstairs bar followed by a hearty meal. Had a great nights sleep and an excellent breakfast. A WAitrose is next door, which is handy for snacks and a newspaper. Would recommend.

We stayed at the Arms for two nights to coincide with the half marathon. The location was perfect for us and the accommodation was exactly what we wanted - clean, comfortable and spacious bedroom/bathroom, plenty of (free) car parking, a nice pub and a top notch breakfast. We ate at Bocca (Italian) and Dylan's (Fish etc) during the evenings which...

We stayed here for a last minute getaway in February, the room was spacious clean and nicely presented. We ended up eating in the restaurant too and there was a nice variety on the menu and good value for money. We would definitely stay here again but probably only for one or two night getaways as it seemed more suited...

Went for a meal on 18/2/2017 and what a wonderful meal it was no complaints at all, the staff were all very helpful, the establishment was very busy showing how popular the place is, one drawback is the pay and display car park but would recommend the place to anyone.

The cleanliness and decor of the room were excellent. The breakfast was good and the restaurant meal and service were a high standard. Indeed we wish we'd eaten there for both nights of our stay. It might be useful to add some information about not having to 'pay and display ' in the car park on the website , as...
