My Wife and I and two friends have just returned f rom a three day stay at the Bishopgate house Hotel in Beaumaris North Wales . We found it to be a quite nice experience but not without a few minor negatives .We had a meal there the first night which we found to be very good and also the...

Stayed for one night in February Had a large room which was comfortable but needed a bit of TLC. In places there was flaking paint and the room had a slight musty smell. Ate in the hotel, food was good, breakfast buffet was reasonable.

I can only presume this review has been left in the wrong place and not for Bishopsgate. We have never and will never serve a buffet breakfast.

Had a lovely 3 course meal here for my birthday. Lovely bar area with open fire for drinks before our meal. Food was perfect! Great service and a lovely quirky building. Would definitely return and maybe stay overnight next time.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Cosy and a warm atmosphere. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for a short break. Anything longer than a few day I think I would get bored as there isn't much to do in Beaumaris. But we loved this hotel and we would stay here again.

We stayed at the Bishopsgate mid week as a couple, using the excellent TravelZoo DB&B deal. The hotel is very old, brimming with history. We were welcomed by the charming Hazel, and we were very well looked after by the team. Our evening meal was delicious (1 AA Rosette each year for the past 15 years.) and served in a...

Stayed two nights midweek at beginning of March. The hotel is very traditional and cosy and was perfect for our needs. The room was warm, quite spacious and for the most part very quiet. Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked with plenty of choice. On the down side the bed was far too soft for my liking and some items...

We stayed here as part of the Travelzoo deal, it was fantastic. The food was excellent, both for dinner and breakfast. Our room (1) was neat and compact, perfect for one or two nights. It's got its own car park, and is right in the centre of the village.

We had a meal here as a Christmas gift so although we live in Wales decided to stay the night to make the most of it in early January. Hotel is a listed building and everything is quite quaint. Our four-poster room at the front was roomy and quite well equipped and we'll heated. It was a really cold weekend....
