We arrived on the 26th November we had realised it was the Christmas fair which was lovely but very very busy the hotel was understaffed and unprepared the staff did there best but there was just nowhere to relax as a resident which was a real shame as the hotel room was lovely and clean if just wasn't shown in...

We booked The Bulkeley for New Year's Eve as our usual B&Bs that we stay in were full. We know Beaumaris well and therefore knew that the location of the Bulkeley was perfect. Whilst the hotel looks magnificent from the outside, the same cannot be said for the inside. Everywhere just seemed a bit shabby, to be honest. The carpet...

After paying £180 for one night we were so disappointed with this hotel. We did our homework before our stay and reviews were quite good but it was so disappointing room unbearably hot plastic cups in room chaotic scene in main lobby tables not cleaned dirty toilets staff rushed and overworked so were rude and unhelpful. Do not waste your money...

Having completed a lovely walk along the cost path we decided to stop at the Bulkeley for some breakfast. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was not only worth the wait but possibly the best eggs Benedict I have ever eaten.

The Bulkeley hotel is a strange mix of faded elegance and painfully old fashioned and beautifully modern. The room we had was recently refurbished and so beautiful, with a huge bed, a nice seating area, with windows which looked out over the Menai straits, and the most beautiful bathroom/wet room with the biggest bath I have ever seen. The coffee...

Quite a nice room to start with number 101 over looking the menai straits. The beds are two singles joined together which i dont like when hotels do that. Great shower and large bath tub large enough for 2. Buffet breakfast is the worst i have ever had. A few pieces of cold meats which tasted like they had been...

Our third stay at this historic hotel in beautiful Beaumaris. We stayed in a lovely sea view room with a 4 poster bed. The view across the Menai Strait is simply stunning. The room was clean and nicely furnished. We had the 3 course dinner in the Hanson restaurant and we both enjoyed the meal. The atmosphere in the hotel...

Mass catering is the order of the day when it comes to Christmas dinners. The meal and event was most enjoyable. The hotel is slightly olde worlde in a prime spot on the Menai Straits with fantastic views of Snowdonia.,

A definite plus is the ample car parking at the rear of the hotel. We opted for a Club Room with Sea View; to my mind the best option but not the most expensive. The room was large and airy with a gigantic double bed. The decor is a little "dated" but blends well with the architecture, creating a very...

A stylist hotel, with an excellent restaurant serving both breakfast and evening meals. The rooms are comfortable and the views amazing over to the Welsh mainland. This is a brilliant situation for walking and sight seeing.
