A lovely hotel to visit for afternoon tea. Very comfortable, relaxing and friendly staff. The food was delicious! Lots going on in the hotel but calm and welcoming. Do visit if you can, I'm sure you will enjoy the visit. The resteraunt menu and bar menu also looked good.

From our arrival to our departure the service from staff, in all departments was exceptional; we were treated as welcome and valued guests. Our room was large, clean and well-decorated. Breakfasts were adequate and well presented. Luncheon in the dining room was very good; silver-service was appreciated. We were particularly impressed by the bistro where we took our evening meals....

Now, I didn't stay here as a guest, so my review is solely based upon my visit for tea during my last visit to Beaumaris. The tea itself was very nice, everything prepared to perfection. Yes, the cost was extortionate, but seeing as it was a one off special for my mother - I'm going to let that slide. The...

Stayed in one of the better rooms with a sea view. Same room as we stayed in 2013. Oh dear same decoration but now looking very tired. Stuffing falling out of the bottom the chairs. If you stand on the landing at the top of the stairs you can see 7! Different types of carpet. However food in the brasserie...

Chose to stay here for 3 nights over Easter having looked online at the photos. Good grief I need that photographer to take photos of me and make me look amazing !!! In desperate need of an update . Wallpaper half and half with a border all faded and peeling off. White crusty stains on the spare blanket in the...

In the past my husband and I often enjoyed going to the Bulkeley Hotel for tea in the lounge. So, when we needed somewhere to stay as a base for visiting friends the Bulkeley was an obvious choice. The hotel has a 1930s grandeur & feels like the you have stepped back in time. The breakfast was buffet style &...

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights from the 14th April 2017 (Easter weekend) and we were delighted with the room, food and level of service experienced in the hotel. We are acquainted with the hotel due to living locally many years ago and would definitely recommend staying here. It was a perfect base for us to visit family...

We have just returned from a three night break at the Bulkeley and found the accommodation so drab and dated it was like staying with somebodys great grandma. The carpets in the corridors to the room were faded and you could feel the floor boards in some places. The décor in the room was so out of date, painted anaglypta...

We checked into the Bulkeley and were given as requested a double room overlooking the Menai Straits looking south into Snowdonia. After a long drive down from South Cumbria the sun was just beginning to set on the mountains. A lovely sight. The Bulkeley is a lovely old building dating from the early part of the 19th century and retains...

We had a lovely two night stay for our 'babymoon', which also turned into a celebration of our engagement when my partner proposed on the second day!!! From being upgraded to a luxury room to the bottle of wine brought to our table in the restaurant to congratulate us, the service was second to none. We will definitely be returning...
