We ate here on two nights and the food was pretty average. The specials board was nothing special and the food was quite pricey for a pub. One meal was a spicy fillet of beef with oriental sauce and stir fry vegatables and was pretty poor value for £13.95, the beef was rare and very chewy, hardly fillet. The chips...

What a great, friendly place to stay. The staff were all really helpful, couldn't do enough for you and the food was lovely. Will definitely go back, it's a perfect base for exploring Anglesey and at a fantastic price.

Hotel is on the Anglesey Coastal Path which was ideal for us as we were walking the path staying at hotels/B&Bs along the way. Clean, comfy room and friendly staff. Good breakfast and very reasonably priced for our family - 2 adults and 2 teenagers.

This hotel is what it is, a coaching inn, the staff are very friendly, the rooms ...ok . However the room we occupied was above the kitchen so we were woken by the staff arriving to prep breakfast, the room sits off a creaky passage that everyone and his dog seemed to pass by. The floor in the room was...

Our double room was a little dated, basic and small but was clean and perfectly adequate for a nights stay. Breakfast was very good and the staff were all very pleasant. We didn't eat here in the evening nor use the bar so I can't comment on those. For the price, I was really pleased.

Short trip with the family marred by choosing the worst place on the island to have an evening meal. I walked in to an empty bar, no customers (which should have given me a little clue) and no staff! I stood at the bar with my 3 year old son from a few minutes, he was shouting 'Hello' at the...

Had a lovely stay here in August. 2 nights for our anniversary, staff couldn't do enough to make sure we had a lovely stay even arranged a bouquet of flowers to be in the room for my wife (room 3 is a large double overlooking the high street in Beaumaris - nice and homely). Hotel is 'Oldy worldly' and hasn't...

Went Sunday 3rd July, having arrived in Beamaris the day before. For £9.95 per person, it was very average to poor for the price. I love carveries despite the fact I am fussy about vegetables. The meat was fine, be it in a small quality compared to our local carveries, the veg I did try ( green beans) was massively...

Ok so there is nothing Actually wrong with this place but certainly nothing to write home about. We stayed as we had a wedding to attend outside beamaris. The room was very basic and not exactly pristine in terms of cleanliness but as we were paying £69 I was kind of accepting of it. The room overlooked the car park...

4 of us booked for an evening meal. The bar was busy and atmosphere good. Service was friendly. New staff were on duty. Sadly this impaired our experience. Vegetables were forgotten twice, once with the meal and then again after asking for them, no cutlery was provided until after the meals had been brought. The food itself was good. Will...
