We booked 8 rooms for Festival Number 6. Booked early to make sure - but were pleasantly surprised. Had a great and varied selection of rooms to choose from - catering for singles, couples and families. We took up the great option of a cooked breakfast when we arrived (made all the difference). We had a great time and escaped...

A quaint little bed and breakfast with clean, warm, lovely rooms. Welcoming and polite staff. Breakfast the next day was excellent value for money. I THINK we paid £5pp and it was good quality and delicious. Would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying here. PS loved the oil lamp wallpaper in our room!

Had a couple of fab meals here recently. Food excellent and good value for money. Once of my dishes wasn't hot so instead of just heating it again they gave me a whole new meal! The staff are really welcoming and attentive. Definitely be back again soon.

We went here for new years eve with two other couples. All our rooms were amazing and nothing was too much for the staff. We had a three course meal. The food was fantastic. The owners were very friendly with everyone. We would definitely visit again.

Stayed for 1 night combining business with visiting relatives. We had a king size room in the annex about 40M from the main building. Spacious, clean and practical with a good bathroom. Ample tea and coffee and 2 bottles of water supplied. Decor was not to our liking a bit of a miss match, but thats just our opinion. We...

Many thanks for taking the time to review us. I'm delighted that you enjoyed your stay and that you plan to return in the future Our Executive king rooms are individually designed and people seem to either love or hate the decor in the specific room you are referring to. I personally really like to room and think the chandelier...

Refurbished rooms were nice. The room felt clean, with lovely fresh white sheets. Staff were friendly. I would stay again.. Only tiny niggles were that it was a tad overpriced when comparing to other similar places and locations, and the doors and passerbyers from nearby room is quite loud- it occasionally sounded liked they were entering our room. But nothing...

Many thanks for placing your positive review. I'm delighted that you liked our room decor and found the rooms to be clean. I'm also pleased that you found our staff to be friendly. I'm sorry you found "passerbyers" to be quite loud. We are constantly reinvesting in the business and new doors are on our list of to do's in...

We stayed here during a couples trip earlier in December of this year and honestly its not that bad! When we entered the Golden Fleece Inn we did have to wait for someone to actually come to the front desk (there was no bell or anything to signify we were there) so after a few minutes we went in to...

Many thanks for placing your review. I'm a little confused regarding your comment about waiting at reception because I believe it was my self who checked you in and as I recall I walked into reception and apologised for keeping you waiting to which I believe you replied you had just arrived. Im Glad you liked your rooms, enjoyed your...

We booked about 12 weeks in advance to stay at the Golden fleece for 2 nights as we had planned to go to the Christmas fair. We were expecting to stay over the pub or next door, we checked in only to be told to go outside turn left and go to the building across the road. We went to...
