Booked as part of our weekend stay in Portmeirion, we didn't really know what to expect. On arrival we were greeted in a warm and friendly way, guided to the lounge area where we were given the cocktail menu and our order was taken. It was a really nice way to start the evening instead of ordering at the table....

We had lunch here before going down to Portmeirion Village. The staff were just brilliant. We arrived to find the car park full, so the concierge tried to find us a space in the overfill car park, couldn't, but didn't let that deter him. He squeezed us into a corner, then took us to our table, and took our order....

We had dinner here as a party of 9, 4 adults, 5 children. Service was very good, and the food quality was fantastic. Certainly the best lamb main course we had in Wales. Stand-out item was the scallop, wasabi and chorizo starter which - whilst not for the faint-hearted - is the only starter I've had where I've immediately booked...

Visited the hotel for two nights last week on the occasion of my son`s wedding which took place at Portmeirion Town Hall in the Italian village. The whole experience was excellent and was enjoyed by all, it was a small family only event with only seventeen of us in total, so if you are looking for a location for a...

On a day trip to Portmeiron, stopped here for lunch. The food was scrumptious and service from the staff delightful. To top it all we received free entrance to the village. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

My wife and I have just spent two nights in Room 10. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and thought we would go somewhere special. On arrival we were made very welcome by the receptionist and the room was excellent, if not a little too warm at times. It's really large with a huge bed, small kitchen area and huge...

My friend and I had reserved a table for lunch following advice on this site. We were greeted by the most friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them throughout our meal. The food was first class and enjoyed in a beautiful conservatory looking out on to fabulous gardens. Would definately visit again. Top marks.A bonus was...

I stayed here with my husband to celebrate my 40th birthday. We had the most fantastic time. The check in was good - staff gave us a warm welcome, and our bags were carried to the room. We stayed in Castell 10 - I have to say this was a lovely room. There were views of the mountains, the estuary...

We were on a day visit to Portmeirion and had lunch at the Castell. The food and service were great and I would recommend it. Sunday lunch includes the entrance fee to Portmeirion but you need to show your booking reservation if you visit the village before you hVe lunch.
