A night here was a real treat. The location is superb with views over the sea. Our suite was huge and very well equipped. The bathroom in particular was great. There are only eleven rooms so the atmosphere is very personal and friendly. Dinner and breakfast in the brasserie were both excellent. It is a lovely room both in daylight...

We decided to have lunch at the brasserie whilst visiting Portmeirion and we were so pleased that we did. Lovely restaurant with very nice views over the garden and the estuary. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Service was excellent and we had a lovely meal. There was plenty of choice and the food was reasonably priced for such excellent...

I was skeptical when my husband said he wanted to visit this small village used as the set for the 1966 tv show The Prisoner - I thought it would be commercialized and overrated. I commend the staff and owners for doing just the opposite and providing a vacation just as it was intended all those years ago when the...

The service and food were excellent. I had one of the loveliest desserts I've every tasted. Roasted pineapple with lemon sorbet. It was perfect. The only slight disappointment I had was that I expected to be eating in a castle. I had visions of oak paneling and a grand dining room. It was basically a large conservatory on the side...

We took advantage of the offer of lunch and free entry to Portmeirion. Lovely location and great food. Service was brilliant and the conservatory dining room overlooking beautiful garden was a joy. The food was delicious and well presented (we even took photos!!!!) Will certainly go back.

We have visited Castell Deudraeth many times over the years. On this occasion, when we wanted to show our Spanish friends the best that our part of Wales has to offer, the food was dreadful. I ordered belly pork (I've had this here in the past). It was cool and well, just a lump of slimy, tepid fat. I sent...

Thank you for your feedback Hugh. As you can see from our other TripAdvisor reviews, your experience seems to have been an anomaly. We pride ourselves on giving each and every one of our guests the very highest levels of customer care and service, and I am disappointed to read that on this occasion we did not meet your expectation....

If you want a place to take a step back and relax this is the place. The staff are helpful and friendly. Walking down through Portmeirion to the bay then into the Hotel for a glass or two of wine. No driving. It's not cheap but I will be going again!!

We stayed here for 2 nights in the Penthouse suite. What can i say..Fab! We arrived well before our check-in time and decided to have a spot of lunch. Although it wasnt on the menu, i asked if they could rustle up a ham salad and they happily obliged. Our room was excellent with top quality toiletries. It had a...
