I recently had two days of breakfast at the Castell. I've been going to Portmeirion for nearly 30 years. It's lovely, relatively expensive and there is a general up market feel to everything from surroundings to the service from the great staff. Such a shame then that breakfast is so average. Both days some or all of the breakfast was...

From the minute we arrived it was a great stay. We had a suite for 3 nights and the standard of the hotel, food and staff was excellent. I would 100% recommend staying here. Very happy and would recommend. Walk into Portmeirion or the Castle offers minibus service.

We stayed here for one night last Sunday and the whole experience was 10/10. We stay in hotels a lot all over the World and this was one of the best. The drinks in front of the huge open log fire, the Lamb Henry for dinner was the best I can remember. The bedroom had a large lounge area, concealed...

We treated ourselves to an afternoon tea special offer which involved afternoon tea, evening meal, overnight stay and entry both days into the village. We stayed in the castle at the entrance to the village. Its a beautiful building with amazing gardens which we had a lovely view of out our window. We were given a room (or rather a...

Castell Deudraeth is located a short distance from Portmeirion village and is part of the Portmeiron estate. It was built as a manor house, later was used as a school and in the 1980s was staff accommodation for Portmeirion employees. Today it is a small luxury hotel. Physically, the building is striking - a castellated manor house. It is set...

My husband book us here for my birthday and what an amazing place he booked! Staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were fantastic, the food amazing. I wished it hadn't rained the next morning as we would have loved to walked around the beautiful grounds. We will be returning (hopefully at Christmas!)

A night here was a real treat. The location is superb with views over the sea. Our suite was huge and very well equipped. The bathroom in particular was great. There are only eleven rooms so the atmosphere is very personal and friendly. Dinner and breakfast in the brasserie were both excellent. It is a lovely room both in daylight...
