Comfortable room with friendly service. Unfortunately this was overshadowed by drunken loutish behaviour until the early hours resulting in about 4 hours sleep. Fair play to Wetherspoons, who gave us a full refund.

The rooms were clean and tidy, overall the establishment was outstanding for the monies, food was a little below par for a weatherspoons, the service was good and the staff friendly. The hotel was at a central location and the car park a 2 minute walk from it .

Stayed one night. Room very comfortable. Good meal with excellent service in the bar in the evening and an excellent breakfast the next morning. Hotel situated in the heart of Monmouth with easy access to all shops, also a good base to visit the local area.

Stayed whilst diving at NDAC for a weekend. Clean, polite staff and excellent value for money. Don't let Weatherspoons put you off. The adjoining bar is ideal for great food at a great price. No on site parking but not a problem with lots of car parks near by and again a fair price. The hotel is situated in the...

Like all Wetherspoons, this pub has a pleasant interior with several different seating areas and the usual menu and daily offers. However, this pub has more than one unpleasant serving staff who spoil the whole Wetherspoon experience. I go there regularly but stopped eating breakfast there because of their staff. On one occasion having ordered a full breakfast without any...

We ate breakfast 2 Saturdays on the trot as it's a stone throw from home. OK a few miles but worth it. We ordered a full traditional breakfast and pancakes , bacon and maple syrup. Plus 2 lattes. They were prompt delivering and the plates were hot . We sat in front of a roaring coal fire.which was a real...

Have stayed here many times, the rooms whilst spacious and clean are adequate but somewhat tired and dated as are the adjoining corridors. The check in is always excellent - very friendly, helpful and efficient. The food is as you'd expect from a large chain such as this - although on our last visit a number of items from the...

Absolutely delighted with the standard of food we received here - and the service. Its a fabulous old building, right next to the old market hall, and with its different levels it really is an interesting place. We are not big wetherspoons visitors - but we will be! Absolutely fabulous food for a very very reasonable price. I had welsh...
