Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Budget price but met all my needs. My room was clean and had everything I needed and the location was perfect for my needs for the weekend. It handy that there was a Starbucks and a Greggs sharing the same carpark so not providing a cooked breakfast was not an issue. The lady on reception was great and was very helpful

There were no grab rails in the main room. The chairs were bucket seats - no arms to assist getting up. The beds were low. All bar one grab rail in the bathroom was at knee level. No vertical rail to assist steeping over the bath to have a shower. Only the toilet was of a proper height with a grab arm and back support. The accessible room is at the front of the hotel - linen delivery lorry arrived at 3am or thereabouts - beeped as it reserved and then you hear the trollies being dragged from the car park to the delivery entrance

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! If you want to wake up with an itchy body, this is the place to go. This is a B-tech rundown hotel in dire need of refurbishment, it’s stuffy, dirty, smelly, everything old fashioned, the car park has potholes, surroundings very dirty I don’t understand all these other reviews that are saying it’s a nice place when it’s a dump, and to make matters worse people have left reviews from last year but there is no improvement at all…….. pull up your socks please !

Big, clean, quiet, comfortable room. A perfect home for 2 weeks with our 2 big dogs. Even enough room for their beds. We were away from home and on a budget and Travelodge fit the bill. Special thanks to Steven and all of the staff.

We booked this hotel as it clearly stated it has an ev charger, only to arrive and find clueless staff who knew nothing about them. Turns out they are just being installed so not in use yet. Why advertise you have them unless they are working

I personally didn’t like it. Yes there is a Starbucks and Greg’s near by which is wonderful. The actual hotel needs modernisation and the staff need to be better. A had a room that didn’t even lock and when I spoke to a person on the desk they were grumpy and it took me complaining for a while to get offered a new room which was dirty. Yuck! The bed was ok - very lumpy and bumpy. The bathroom was okay - terrible water pressure but at least clean. Towels were old & crusty - but did the job. The price is ok and I guess you get what you pay for. The lighting was awkward & didn’t work. The tv had no signal and therefore didn’t work. The signal is limited but okay fir basics.

This is not one of the easiest Travelodges to find, especially since it's not visible from the very busy North Wales Expressway. However, if you follow the directions on the Hotel's site, using the Postcode they provide within these instructions, you should end up where you want to be! (Unfortunately there are two Shell Garages (one each on either side of the carriageways) and four junctions, all with the number 33. Ignore Junctions 33A, 33B and 33C and just head for plain Junction 33. Heading east, there are no Junction numbers on the overhead gantrys, it is only when you're heading west that they become apparent, which makes following the instructions a little more difficult and requires some additional detective work!) We had a good, comfortable stay, which made up for our intial difficulties in finding the Hotel! That evening, we wanted to go and find somewhere to have a meal. Chris, who was on Reception duties that evening, was extremely helpful and used her knowledge of the area, suggesting several of what she thought were the best restaurants to go to in nearby Mold. She wrote down their details, including telephone numbers and once we'd made our choice, she gave us written instructions as to how to find the restaurant we'd chosen (including how to navigate our way around the Expresway) - which easily took us straight there! The meal at Asia Sensation, was really good and was thoroughly enjoyed. In the morning, Scott, the Hotel Manager, was also extremely helpful in getting us logged into Travelodge's 30 minute free Wifi. Although we'd stayed in Travelodges before, our Passwords weren't working and the requests to have the facility to change the Passwords, weren't being received. Scott was able to sort the problems out for us and before we left for our home in Scotland, we were able to access some much needed and vital travel information through the free 30 minute Wifi.

Lovely hotel, cheap and cheerful, staff are great and can’t do enough for you. Nothing is a problem. We had an upstairs room at first which wasn’t good for mobility issues but next morning we wer found a ground floor room which was fab. New carpets throughout which is a bonus, rooms are very clean, no complaints here very happy

This is a very dated hotel with the very basics. The room hadn’t been cleaned particularly well - found hairs in the bath and rubbish in the corner of the room. The bed was not entirely comfortable as ended up rolling into the middle constantly. There is absolutely no signal here as could not even make a phone call and the free 1/2hour Wi-Fi was pretty pointless. The staff on reception however were very friendly and welcoming.
