A party of four of us stayed, to attend the local Lions Club Charter Dinner. The staff where very helpful and friendly, the rooms quirky but pleasant and comfortable and in good order. The bar was comfortable, prices reasonable. The function was excellently organised, and the food was both hot, tasty, and served well. The Welsh breakfast was one of...

We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Plas Hafod on Easter Sunday; excellent food and good value for money. The restaurant was very busy but staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Lovely old house set in well stocked and maintained gardens - perfect for a stroll after lunch. Would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely family run hotel with friendly staff. Decorated in a quirky but interesting way with a hunting lodge feel. Well kept garden and grounds to wander round. Busy bar and restaurant in the evening, but we didn't eat there on this occasion, so can't comment on the food.

We were invited by friends to have Sunday Lunch here. We didn't know what to expect. We couldn't fault any part of our visit. The food was excellent and so was the service. The restaurant was very busy but the staff were friendly making this a very pleasant Sunday afternoon. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Plas Hafod.

Just celebrated my father's 90th birthday at the Plas Hafod. Food was excellent , something on the menu to suit everybody. The service was first class. Nothing was to much trouble . Excellent value for money and the drinks are reasonably priced. We will defiantly return.

This is a restaurant review only.....a rather packed and noisy 'greenhouse room' is another person's good atmosphere, so you take your choice. Decent lunch menu, generally sensibly-priced with lite-bite options. Food quality is excellent but underpowered coffee. Pleasant and patient service. Can take couples or groups which were in the majority when we visited; very popular with locals and 'ladies...

We attended Plas Hafod for a special birthday lunch & had also booked an overnight stay. We were certainly not disappointed. The three course lunch was superb, with plenty to choose from off the menu. The hotel was extremely busy but the service was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. When the lunch ended, we were shown to our room on...
