Recently stayed here for 3 nights over the New Years weekend. Had a fabulous time here with friends, and had the whole place to ourselves (16 of us in total!) First impressions were great, there's plenty of car parking space if you do travel here in convoy. The front door opens up to a porch area (great for beer storage),...

Really enjoyed our stay here, rooms were excellent, building was beautiful and location was perfect. Pub/restraunt very close and also shops and cafe. Thank you to Alice (and the dogs) for making it a great weekend climbing Snowdon.

I hired the church for 15 friends and we all had an amazing time, with everyone commenting on how much they enjoyed the property. Comfortable bedrooms and fantastic communal areas - a big living room with fire, pool table and grand piano, and a large mezzanine kitchen area above which could fit us all in for dinner. The garden was...

I hired this church for 12 people for my partners birthday and it was amazing. We had booked in zip lining mountain bike riding and a hike to the summit of Snowdon and needed somewhere that was in a good position for alll of these activities and cold fit all 12 of us! The church fit us all in with...

We stayed in Alice's converted church in late September for a company team outing and had a FANTASTIC stay. The converted church is extremely impressive -- lots of history and attention put in the renovation. There is a zipwire outside and a hot tub and we did a 4 hour walk that started from the church and went into the...

This place is beautifully converted into a family home and b&b accommodation. I stayed with my son for two nights in a twin room on a last minute whim because of the good weather forecast. The room was modern with TV reception through a Sky box, so good signal. The WiFi was also good. Location is excellent, three pubs are...

We had just one week away from the heat and dust of a Dubai summer; so we had to make it count. We did intend on camping that week, even brought the tent with us. When we happened upon this unique accommodation, the camping went out the window. We originally stayed for 2 nights and with a heavy heart had...

Arriving at the tucked away church built into the hills we didn't know what to expect. Alice welcomed us by calling from the window and came to meet us at the door. As we stepped into the main room a beautiful mosaic ceiling shines down on you and you can't help but be wowed by its presence. The high church...

This was a last minute booking, a group had cancelled and we manage to secure a spot for the bank holiday weekend. The room we stayed was not an en-suite, but the bathroom was next door to the room. The room was spacious, 1 double bed, 2 seats sofa, small wardrobe, Tv (sky channels), coffee table with kettle, coffee and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It’s probably true to say that there’s nowhere else quite like St Curig’s in North Wales. Ancient and modern stylishly combine in this B&B set within a 19th-century church in the mountain village of Capel Curig. Where else can you sleep beneath a carved stone pulpit, enjoy a hot tub under the stars or play table tennis beneath a fabulous 19th-century mosaic ceiling? And all with lovely views of Snowdonia’s mountains from every window… ... more   less
