Running on casual backpacking principles to keep costs down, but with added extras (amazing duvets!), bunks with curtains, modern, cosy facilities, shared kitchen, fireplace and nearby options if you don't feel like cooking. Verandah overlooking the river, in the heart of Snowdownia.

Excellent well maintained bunk house. Great facilities , large communal kitchen area and lounge. Big shout to Haman who helped me get Glastonbury tickets , what friendly guy who greeted us on arrival and had the place running brilliantly.

Our room was nicely furnished and the communal spaces are very welcoming and well thought out. We got lots of really helpful information from Homan who was working on the front desk and his advice really made our weekend. There is a great cafe next door with friendly staff and a nice pub the other way. It's in a great...

This is a great luxury hostel situated in a great location for walking in the mountains of Snowdonia and with great views. We've stayed there twice and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. There is a good gastro pub on one side and a good cafe the other.

We've been using this place for an annual gathering for walking and beers for a few years. Always a warm welcome and always a good stay. Really stylish, really comfortable beds and more privacy than you might anticipate.

If you're planning a trip to Snowdon and you're looking for cheaper accommodation than a hotel or B&B, then look no further than Plas Curig Hostel. It might be cheaper accommodation (£25/night - Sep-16) but there is nothing cheap in terms of how this place looks and feels. It is every bit as good as you see in the photos!...

This is a fabulous place to stay. My young son and I stayed for 4 nights and were pleased with the price, cleanliness, crisp cotton sheets, welsh blankets, wifi, decoration and location. An absolute find and a place I would be happy to recommend and return to. If. you are there do go wild swimming in Lake Padarn at the...

This hostel is well served by the Sherpa buses so it's a great base for exploring the plentiful pleasures of Snowdonia. It feels like a friendly and intimate place with a spacious self-catering kitchen and a comfortable lounge. However, it's the bedrooms that set this place apart from your normal hostel in my opinion. The dorm I stayed in had...
