We stayed at the Ty Gwyn guest house for one night on our way down to cardiff. We always spend a lot of time looking for the right place to stay to ensure a happy holiday and we were more than happy when we arrived on the Friday afternoon. I was a bit worried that we would feel like we...

We are very picky about where we stay and spent a lot of time reading through reviews on Ty Gwyn, reviews/location/price. Well...everything said is true we couldn't have been more pleased. Mark Richards is a fantastic host and has a great deal of knowledge of the area/places to visit. The home cooked breakfasts with ingredients sourced locally were possible, the...

9 of us took over the entire property, Mark was an absolute star and nothing was too much trouble, the rooms are exceptional and spotlessly clean, beach on the doorstep and walk into town no issue either.

We had an amazing 1 night stay at the Guest House. Mark is the perfect host and cant do enough for you. He really has mastered that customer service comes above everything else and will ensure you are happy. If you need anything, just give him a shout. Would recommend to everyone.

This time we stayed in the brand new annexe. It is also disabled and pet friendly. I have to say that the whole place just gets better. The annexe was spacious and luxurious with sea views and there is now a beautiful decking area on the front lawn, looking out to sea with chairs and a table, so peaceful and...

We stayed at Ty Gwyn so that the kid could have a couple of days on the beaches around New Quay. It was really lovely, the rooms are well done, the staff were very friendly and it has a terrific ambiance.

A few of us booked Ty Gwyn to stay for a wedding near by. We were looked after perfectly. Comfy Beds, Great Breakfast's and a wonderful view topped by a fantastic Mark and his Crew who made our stay so much better. From acting as a taxi service to recommending restaurants, they did a fantastic job. One of our guests...

It's not easy to find a hotel on the Mid Wales coast when you are a young family of four and want to share the same room. So we got lucky when we discovered this gem of a guest house. We were in the Annexe which was extremely comfortable and ideal for our requirements - easy to cook meals and...

“These reviews are honest. Believe me, I have stayed in enough places that really don't deserve any stars. This is truly excellent. The rooms are clean, modern, well decorated and there aren't a load of rules, regulations and junk/unnecessary plastic flowers or nick nacks.”
