Friendly hotel with excellent facilities and great breakfast. Location excellent for visiting the wonderful attractions Visit to Tenby a must! Only disappointment was the complimentary glass of wine in arrival promised with our two night stay never arrived

Good value for money in this relativly small hotel. Full of character and a pleasant longe with very comfortable armchairs, easy to fall asleep in front of the open fire. Rooms are clean and comfortable with all of the usual facilities.

Just returned from a 2 night break at the Castle Hotel. Building full of character, charming and efficient service and free car parking. Central location in Llandovery. Good breakfast. Ate both nights in the hotel and it was fine - just had soup on one night and it came with a lovely big bread basket rather than the paltry bread...

Checking in was a little awkward as the receptionist ignored our presence at first. Eventually after some time our booking was found and we were shown to our room. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was faultless and enjoyable. Overall an enjoyable stay!

I had a one night Groupon break and brought my dog with me. The hotel is lovely inside particularly the comfy sofas and fireplace. The staff were lovely, my room was a good size and very clean. There was free parking, free WiFi and even free dog treats. We (my dog and i) were made to feel really welcome in...

The receptionist was doing something on the computer for what seemed ages, and I was about to say ..."Don't worry, we shall go elsewhere"??? when she acknowledged us...

Recently stayed at the hotel for one night. First impressions aren't great but once inside it soon changes. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit quirky with squeeky and uneven floorboards but it only adds to the charm. Dinner was first class as was the breakfast. Would highly recommend
