Lovely little country pub tucked away in hills. They have nice double and twin en suite rooms. I had a simple single room with shared bathroom for reasonable price of £32. The other rooms are nicer but naturally cost a little more, so no complaints. Staff were really nice, landlord keeps great beers, and cooks tasty food. The generally ambience...

The fire was roaring, the beer was great and the food was superb top notch pub grub. Very friendly staff a lovely atmosphere. We stayed only one night,...

The landlord is brilliant and very accommodating to any needs. I have stayed here several times and the food has always been freshly made and delicious. On the times I have stayed here the rooms are always immaculately clean and also very homely. I can't speak more highly of this place!!

We drove past today on our way to the dam, and thought that we'd return for lunch. As always our walk turned into more of a hike and by the time we got back it was just heading to 3pm. Well past closing time, but since there were some bikers sitting out front with a drink, we assumed we could...

With a Campsite down the hill and having a day out walking the hills, what better to eat at this local pub. The beer was of good standard and the Rib eye was cooked as required. with a couple of ales and locals the evening went well and a good night slept well.

We decided to book a last minute break here for Sunday night and we're so glad they had a room available. When we arrived there was a mini beer festival going on so it was quite busy and the weather was lovely. We checked in and were shown straight to our room which was quite big with our own bathroom...
