I booked into this place off of reviews on Trip Adviser. Firstly, I suspect that there are not many great hotels in Memphis. This place is OK but is old but in a charming, yet sterile sort of way. The service was patchy. On my first night I was tired from a long drive and was just wanting some room...

Dear Nebuliza, Thank you for visiting The Peabody. I am sorry to hear about the difficulties encountered during your visit. This is not typical of a stay at the “South’s Grand Hotel” as we pride ourselves on “Southern Hospitality”. We will share this review with the staff as part of retraining and I hope you will give us another opportunity...

What a treat it was to stay at the Peabody! The hotel is beautiful! The ducks were so much fun to watch (watched them 3x). My husband and I were able to walk every where we wanted to go. The Autozone Park is literally across the street! Lot's of great restaurants close by. We will go back

We just got back from a long weekend in Memphis with was big fun, and The Peabody didn't disappoint one bit. The place just exudes a genteel old southern charm, with service that's top notch. I We were given an 11th floor room with a town view, and that was fine for the rate we received. I forgot to bring...

The Peabody is a beautiful old hotel. The service was wonderful, the lobby is elegant, and the March of the Ducks into the lobby fountain was adorable. The only let down was the breakfast buffet. The usual cold eggs and limp bacon you get at any 3 or 4 star hotel. So enjoy the hotel, but go out for breakfast.

Had always wanted to stay here, having heard of the Duck March--ducks who reside at the hotel are trained to "march" (to the tune of Sousa's "King Cotton March") to the lobby fountain from their rooftop home, via the elevator, at 11:00 a.m., then back up to the roof at 5:00. It's great fun to watch, a tradition that began...

After much research I chose to stay at the Peabody Hotel for the heritage, proximity to all attractions and to see the ducks We stayed two nights at The Peabody Hotel. We arrived at the same time as the ducks were doing their march and the lobby was packed!!! We checked in to be told the room we booked was...

I've stayed here a few times in the past and wasn't impressed. Inhad always found the rooms to be very dated and borderline creepy. On this trip, however, the rooms have been recently renovated and we're really great. Large, clean and contemporary and befitting a great old hotel. Service was excellent. It was a really nice stay and great to...

We spent just one night here on our way east. We unfortunately missed the ducks as there were so many tour buses lined up outside we could not park in time! However, once we got inside the staff at the front desk were most courteous and friendly. Our room was spacious, elegant decor, and the bed and pillows were first...

What's not to love?! Furnishings are fine. Lobby is nice. There is a big to-do about the Peabody ducks being herded down from the roof, into the elevator and into the fountain in the lobby. It's more for children than adults. Tourists come in from the heat to watch this, so be aware of the duck schedule to avoid the...
