If you are a timid driver and will be arriving/leaving during rush hour or at night, this may not be the hotel for you. Getting to the hotel when coming from the west requires very quickly getting across 3 lanes of fast moving traffic and...More

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I went there with a colleague for work and the hotel was tired and dirty but worst of all I had the biggest roach I have ever seen in my life in my room. It...More

Booked this place through an internet provider for a very low, good price. Was pleasantly surprised by the room. King size bed, nice linens on the bed, big nice furniture. Loved the shampoo, conditioner and shower was dispensers in the shower. Room was very modern....More
I didn't realize when I booked this hotel that it basically sits on an island in between two highways. To reach the entrance of the hotel, it feels like you take an exit left, the oncoming one-way traffic is coming over a hill, so you...More

Whether the breakfast is complimentary depends on what kind of reservation you have. There is a quite nice restaurant literally across the courtyard from the hotel. Besides one of Memphis best restaurants (Erling's, among the top 100 in the US) is located within 1-2 miles from the hotel. The hotel is not 5 star, but neither is the price, so in my opinion, it is well worth staying there.

We are located in East Memphis, which is about as far east in the city as you can go without leaving it. Beale St., as well as the National Civil Rights Museum, Tom Lee Park, and the Mississippi River, located in downtown, which is the western-most edge of the city. It takes about 25 minutes by car to get from one to the other. Our appointment based shuttle service can get you to the establishments in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Because our shuttle also services airport appointments, it may not be available on demand. A cab ride to downtown typically runs $35-$40. When guests' stays are planned for more than one day and will include trips to various areas of the city, we do recommend checking whether the cost of renting a car fits within their travel budget.
