This was a great experience, friendly clean comfortable. Everybody welcoming and great attention paid to detail. Bright warm sitting area.Everybody could not do enough for you. Very dog friendly, but dogs are not allowed in sitting and eating area which is fair enough.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and comfortable, with plenty of space for 2, excellent shower, tasteful décor and very well equipped kitchen/dining area. The owners Morag and Bob were very helpful and friendly and collected us from the boat. The apartment is in easy walking distance of the pier, pub etc , but in a quiet, peaceful...

Stayed in the newly available one bedroom apartment attached to Knoydart Lodge. This is just amazing! Pictures online do it no justice at all. Spacious, spotless, from fresh flowers to the bed linen all fully equipped kitchen, wifi,tv. But the views. Peace and serenity. And Morag just leaves you to it and no one disturbs. Quite possibly one of the best...

I was aiming to go to Knoydart but an accident in Glencoe meant that I arrived at 10.00 pm in my Landrover: too late for the boat accross. I left my Landrover at the pier but the Clachaine, my normal excellent standby, was fully booked, however, helpful as ever, they telephoned Ben who came down to collect me in his...

Hard to review as the current owner / operators are selling up and retiring. Hope someone with the same enthusiasm as Morag & Bob will take it on and continue the great job. 15 minutes walk from Inverie village (jetty, teashop and pub). 5 minutes walk to Long Beach. Right at the start / end of some fantastic walks in...

If you have never been to Knoydart, I'm sorry. Not because you have missed out on one of the most remote yet alluring peninsulas in mainland Britain; it's still there. But you have missed Bob and Morag at Knoydart Lodge. Having designed and built the place themselves, mostly out of larch trees, and just got everything simply right, they ran...

The Welcome is great, the breakfast excellent, from fruit to kippers to the full fry up, sitting around the kitchen table with other guests, who can be from any part of the planet. accommodation spot on, a 6 bed purpose built house, which is really...

Stayed here on Day 2 of our Cape Wrath Trail and walked from Glenfinnan to here (over 20 miles of rough ground). Arrived late @9:30pm totally done in and we were made feel very welcome and also had some food cooked for us and endless cups of tea. Bob could have done anymore to make us feel very welcome and...

We stayed two nights in this fabulous B&B, built and run by Bob and Morag, who are fantastic hosts. Picked up from the pier and greeted with tea and cake, it was really special from the start. Spacious rooms, a comfy bed, convivial living area and everything looks brand new. Loved it here and would highly recommend it to anyone...

One of the best B&Bs I have stayed in. Bob and Morag are the perfect hosts delivering excellent service to their guests from the moment you are picked up at the pier. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts and packed lunches, using ingredients from the well stocked garden, are superb. The Lodge is an excellent base from...
