We headed for Glengarry Castle after finding ourselves in need of a bite to eat - an old copy of "Scotland the Best" suggested it might be a good idea. It was after 2pm and we were too late for lunch. But despite this we were welcomed and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea in the library. The staff were warm...

Glengarry Castle Hotel has good sized rooms for families with young kids and very big warmm and comfortable bathrooms, which have been renovated. It is situated on beautiful lush grounds by Loch Oich with the haunting Glengarry Castle ruin and an eerie capsized boat on the Loch beneath the ruin. Wonderful walks and very peaceful. The only pity is that...

Loved the views of the loch from this hotel. The food and service were both very good; the rooms were comfortable. Our standard room turned out to be in former servants' quarters, accessible by a maze of hallways and stairs, but with a lovely view over a sheep pasture and down to the loch to the east. The hotel's public...

This hotel is a great example of perfection in the hotel industry. I can highly recommend this hotel. We stayed here for one night. I proposed to my girlfriend here on the dock overlooking the loch. We had a beautiful meal. The room, hotel, and grounds are perfect! Great value for money.

Faultless. However, i have to write more!! This is without doubt the most complete, perfect and stunning hotel i have ever had the pleasure of staying in. There is not one thing that could be improved. We stayed in a superior room for five nights which was perfect. We cant wait to return.

We were travelling on our boat hired from Caley Cruisers and stopped off at the pontoon next to a shipwreck, to discover the Glengarry Castle Hotel. They served a traditional high tea for 9 pounds per person. It was vey filling. I loved the fact that it was served in various rooms on the ground floor and we were placed...

We stayed at the Glengarry Castle Hotel for one night. The welcome was exceptionally friendly. The hotel decor fits the ambience perfectly and the lounge area very nice and atmospheric. The evening meal for £30 per person was very good indeed….a very high standard. The hotel grounds and the loch side location (including a small abandoned castle) are idyllic. Overall...

The staff were all friendly and helpful. We were checked in promptly and escorted to our room. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms clean and comfortable. Our room was large and yet cozy. The setting of the hotel is fabulous ~ our windows looked out upon Loch Oich. The hotel has a private jetty on the Loch and a short...

Probably the best thing is the stunning setting. Arrive, stroll down though the garden to the private jetty on the loch and you feel in a different world. Four star prices, but also four star quality; our room was not a "superior" (with four poster bed) but comfortable, well-equipped and more than adequate. Delicious, elegantly served tea by the terrace....
