We were warmly greeted by the very experienced owners, Rosemary and Peter, and shown around the guest areas of the house. It consisted of a very comfortable lounge with fire, a big TV and super soft chairs...and a piano. The breakfast room, like our bedroom had amazing views over the anchorage in Arisaig bay with its pretty village in the...

One night business trip, hosts extremely friendly, house and views magnificent. Room immaculate. Breakfast was first class and had a great cup of coffee to boot! Will make a point of coming back next time I need away!

We stayed here three nights. We travelled by train and Peter met us at the station and took our luggage, which freed us up for the afternoon. When we left, again we were given a lift to the station - we appreciated these lifts very much. The house is in a beautiful setting - the view over the bay from...

This excellent B n B is a short distance from the beautiful village of Arisaig and the views from the bedroom and the dining room over the sea loch are quite outstanding. Peter and Rosemary were the perfect hosts and provided us with lots of local knowledge including details of the little community museum nearby which was well worth a...

A warm welcome awaits you at Hilbre. Large room, clean and tidy and such charming hosts. Sea view from the breakfast table with binoculars to hand. 5 minutes from the village and 15 from the railway station.

I stayed with Rosemary and Peter for 7 nights and it was just perfect. Friendly hosts with loads of local area knowledge and always keen to help. Breakfasts were a dream and the view onto the loch in the morning was so enjoyable. I will certainly stay here again and they made my holiday a real restful break. Lovely room...

my friend and I stayed two nights as wewere going to a wedding in the area. The location is beautiful, the house overlooks the sea loch at Arisaig, a delightful little place - do visit the little community museum, it's a little gem. There are lovely views from the bedrooms, which are really well furnished and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts...

We stayed here one night before catching a ferry. The owner graciously picked us up at the train station and dropped us at the ferry the next day. The room was beautiful and very quiet. Breakfast was outstanding. This B&B is a short walk into town down a country road. There was a very inviting garden at Hilbre, but unfortunately...

This is the second time we have stayed here & we were not disappointed. Rosemary & Peter are amazing hosts and went out of their way to accommodate our kids at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back & can't recommend the Hilbre highly enough.

Our last call in Scotland after a 12 day Outer Hebrides island hop in June, of all the places we stopped this was definitely the best. Great situation, excellent room, good breakfast, Hilbre is a steady ten minute walk along the loch'side from Arisaig for an evening meal, we tried the Arisaig hotel for a meal, but could do better...
