Visited here with friends and I would recommend this place if you are looking for a nice lunch. Steak pie is homemade and very tasty. Decent portions and the staff are really friendly and efficient. Sit in the conservatory if you can as this provides stunning views over the water. A roaring coal fire in the bar makes the place...

We were on a family holiday in the area and called in on our last day in Portpatrick for some lunch. It was cold outside so what a nice welcome the roaring fire was. We sat in the conservatory/sun room overlooking the harbour. We ordered our food and drink at the bar. Steak pie, chicken curry and two kids portions...

Good prices and friendly staff but pub not as busy as the others in the area so easy to get lunch on a Saturday - drinks prices...

We ordered a hake meal (with chips) and belly pork. The hake was nicely cooked but the chips were poor. The pork belly was under cooked and came with potatoes served with caramelised onions that had so much sugar I found them inedible - this aspect of the dish was not mentioned in the menu. The staff we dealt with...

Its a warm welcoming place with an open fire and great locals, not to mention lots of history! The staff are amazing! Even though we were staying in another hotel Jude was happy to show us not only the...

The hotel is perfectly positioned on the seafront and the glass fronted conservatory facing the sea is great to relax in with a wee wine! Breakfast is served here too. We had a fabulous family room which was spacious, spotless and modern. Great walk in shower and we loved sitting facing the harbour views from the chairs at at the...
