I called midweek and had the meal deal 2 dishes for a tenner it was very average .on the plus side the staff were very attentive. and the pub has good atmosphere with a proper coal fire in .its also dog and child friendly.
Popped into The Downside as it was just over from our rental. Lovely welcoming pub. Served lovely pub grub. No complaints at all and the bar staff were very friendly. Not sure about the entertainment on the Saturday night though. Would definately go back. Great...More
