This is a great place and a great base to explore the Borders. The hotel has a wonderful location next to the Abbey and on the bank of the River Tweed, it's a joy to walk out of the front door and breath in the beauty. We stayed one night on a deal the 8th March. We had a super...

If you are looking for something special then this is the hotel for you. The staff are very friendly and go out of there way to make you feel at home. Its the sort of place where you go down to breakfast in your slippers, very homely. The food is first class and the rooms very comfortable. Its not modern...

Pros: lovely grounds; next to abbey ruins which are great fun to explore if it is open; nearby countryside is beautiful; dogs welcome; very nice restaurant/food; pool facilities; sauna; friendly staff. Cons: interior decor is quite outdated; although there's a pool, again it is quite dated looking; the abbey was not open when we were there, even though it was...

We recently visited Dryburgh Abbey hotel for the second time (the past visit having been 4 years ago). We visited over Valentines Day weekend. We really like this hotel, the staff are excellent - going out of their way to set up a screen for the rugby in the conference room. The bar staff took great care of us also....

The location of this hotel is lovely, can't be faulted and we were lucky to have a delux room overlooking the Tweed. Staff were nice on check in, I had read reviews before I went and yes I can see in places carpets are a bit threadbare, furniture can be a bit mismatched but does that not add to the...

Right next door to Dryburgh Abbey, this country mansion hotel offers individually designed and very spacious rooms. Mine had a King bed and the bathroom featured a proper long and deep tub, not one of those new hotel shallow short ones.
