Rich in history & a great find. Smaller than Melrose but equally as beautiful and interesting. There is a quaint gift shop as you walk in which has a coffee machine, ideal for visiting in the colder months we purchased some coffee/hot chocolate & carried it around with us, kept us lovely and warm. The Abbey is well maintained, well...

Booked an afternoon tea for 2.00PM as a treat for my mother-in-law's 88'th birthday. Most disappointed that we sat at the table for 45 minutes after placing our orders before a member of staff came to say that they were going to have to cook more scones, resulting in a further wait. The restaurant was very quiet, however staff seemed...

My husband and I were treated to a weekend away by our respective mothers and we chose this hotel based on reviews we had already read. I wish we could have stayed longer. I had read in other reviews about it being 'dated' and they were absolutely right and we loved it. This is a beautiful building full of character...

Enjoyed a 3 night stay in this lovely situated hotel. Warm rooms, good food. The highlight was the friendly attentive staff who always seemed to have time to say hello and chat. Eveyone seemed to co-operate in and upper management seemed to help out rather than there being a hierarchy.

We are from the Borders and need to return from time to time. Having tried several hotels in the area, we tend to prefer the Dryburgh Abbey. Its glorious site overlooking the Tweed and Abbey, with the Eildon hills as a backdrop certainly makes us feel we are truly in the very heart of the Borders and we can easily...

The hotel is in a beautiful setting right next to the ruins of Dryburgh Abbey. We were lucky enough to have a clear frosty night and had an amazing view of the night sky without the usual light pollution. This really is a dog friendly hotel, the only areas the dog was not allowed were the restaurant and swimming pool....

Four of us had a very enjoyable stay at Dryburgh Abbey over New Year. The package was excellent value and we were impressed with the entertainment and standard of catering. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. There is a variety of good walks in the area. To be recommended.

Yet another fantastic New Year at Dryburgh Abbey Hotel. The family joined us this year for the 1st time and loved every minute of their stay, our 5 year old Grand daughter took full advantage of all the dancing and can't wait to go again.

Fantastic service from the owners and staff at this hotel who made the New Year break memorable. Went out of their way to cater for my wife who is allergic to dairy. Good entertainment on both nights and a good set up throughout the whole weekend. Top stuff!!

Wonderful location, Hotel is right beside the River Tweed and is on the St Cuthberts Way walk. The hotel is large and luxurious but manages to maintain a homely atmosphere.
