We booked this last minute to break up our journey onwards to Skye. The welcome was extremely friendly and the cup of tea was a very nice touch! The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Little touches like the Scottish toiletries were great too. Andy and Ellen made what was really only a flying visit seem like a mini... More

After a few faultless visits to the house we decided (family) to book the lodge. A great week the place has all you require plus entertainment provided by the chickens. As a sign of our stay we have booked next year, and to me their is no better advert than repeat customers. Finally have to add this place is owned... More

You may well stay in some very good places if you are walking the WHW but this is the best! Ellen and Andy provide a wonderful B&B and are extremely helpful. If you don't fancy the walk into Tyndrum the evening meal is also very good. I can't recommend this place enough!

Very warm and genuine welcome with tea and flapjacks. The room was of a high standard and very comfortable with good range of teas, coffees and other drinks available. Short walk into Tyndrum to the local pub to get something to eat but worth it to sample the Tyndrum Chicken as recommended by Ellen. Cases taken up to room before... More

We had a lovely stay. The lodge was lovely and comfortable. Lovely views and very peaceful. It was kitted out with everything we needed. The owners were very nice and the chickens were funny. We will definitely be back again soon. Jim and Juliette

We stopped at Glengarry House for two separate nights both were brilliant. Such a friendly warm welcome, had a very delicious home cooked evening meal, lots of choices for a wonderful breakfast and a very filling packed lunch. The accommodation was spotless and thoughtful touches in the rooms. This really felt like a home from home would definitely recommend staying here.

Glengarry house was a very welcome sight at the end of an unusually hot August day on the West Highland Way. We were met by an exceptionally warm and genuine Ellen, offered tea and delicious flapjacks (calorie free, apparently) and shown to our tastefully decorated and very well appointed room. Meticulous attention to detail at Glengarry and every thing has... More

This was a very comfortable stop on the West Highland Way . We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom ( book extremely early to get an ensuite ) . Ellen and Andy were very welcoming and Ellen cooked a lovely evening meal . Excellent drying room for wet gear. The only slight downside was the walk along... More

The warmest welcome yet from all of our hosts on the WHW. The attention to detail is second to none. Made to feel very welcome by Andy ("the face of Glengarry House") and Ellen (the brains, the homely touches and "the Boss", no matter what Andy might tell you!). The welcoming brew and home made flapjack were a nice touch.... More
