Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice welcome, clean cabin. Sleeping bag, pillow and sheets(!) provided making for a comfortable night's sleep. All the facilities you need - kettle and heater in cabin, drying room, kitchenette, showers etc. Right by the centre of Tyndrum and on the WHW. Probably our best accommodation all week.

We stayed here as a group completing the west highland way. The facilities are great. Nice big common area and kitchen, clean and comfy room, friendly helpful guy greeted us and showed us where the facilities were. It’s literally on the WHW and a short walk to where the shops and restaurants are. We ate in the real food cafe which is fabulous and stocked up in the Green Welly. My only criticism is the price of washing/drying clothes was a bit high but very handy to have the option.

The hosts were very accommodating after a delay caused us to arrive late. They telephoned and text us the details needed for arrival. The site is very clean and well presented, we had a good plot for our motorhome and despite the site being busy it was lovely and quiet. The shower/toilet facilities were very clean and well equipped.

This is our second time kicking off our Highland Hi-Jinx in Tyndrum. Beautifully kept campsite, with wonderful staff. The Facilities were all top notch, and we love it as a first stop. There is a river walk nearby, great places to eat within walking distance and lots of camping options on sight – pods, room for tents, campervans…We will be going again & always recommend it.

Right from booking our stay to leaving it was a wonderful place! Perfectly located and well set up. Great facilities and organised in such a way to facilitate a great atmosphere of travellers and tourists. Even in the storms the community feel was great. Staff were out of the way helpful when needed. Warm, clean and powerful showers! Ideal kitchen and seating area. And the drying room was amazing!!

We stayed in hut 3. 2.1 m. By 3.1 m. Two comfy single beds., A light and a fan heater. Thin wall between it and the middle hut with the 3rd room beyond, all in one wooden building on the old rail platform. We were the old duffers next to the buffers. Foot ointments, plasters and boot laces are available in reception. Superb for trains to Oban, fort William and glasgow. Saw woodpecker and red squirrel nearby. A Robin ate our crusts.

Really appreciated the clean comfortable room, large kitchen & common space, amenities like the drying room. My wife and I and two friends stayed here on our trek along the West Highland Way. Really enjoyed the place and its proximity to both the trail and the town center.

We only stayed one night on our way home from exploring the highlands. We didn’t arrive until 6, we received such a friendly welcome from the man on reception. Absolutely couldn’t fault it, spotlessly clean, all the facilities on site are spot on, even a microwave! The bonus is that there are lovely eating places 2 minutes away! So we had a nice breakfast before we set off! Get the impression it’s also a great location for walking too! Get yourself booked in!

Excellent clean site. Friendly, helpful staff and great dog walks direct from the site. Also 10 minute walk into the village where there is a great bar/restaurant (tremendous food). Highly recommend a visit to this site. We stayed as a family in our motorhome however there are many tent/camping areas and some great looking pods.

Good facilities. We stayed in a twin room in the hostel it was clean and comfortable. Washing and drying facilities and the hostel has a good kitchen area. The location is excellent on the West Highland way and a great base for travelling.
