Stayed for 3 nights at Loch Lomond country guest house( formely Tarbet house) and was greeted by Paula who was an amazing host. The view from the suites are out of this world. I had requested suggestions for restaurants prior to arrival for my husbands 50th and Paula recommended an excellent restaurant which suited our taste, she also asked if...

What a great house in a great location. Paula met us with a fantastic afternoon tea on our arrival which we enjoyed in front of the huge windows overlooking the loch. Our group of 6 occupied 3 rooms, each of high quality. An excellent Scottish breakfast while watching the mist lift from the loch and Ben Lomond appear from the...

Excellent. Our first time at Loch Lomond and we could not be made more welcome when staying at Tarbet House. Fabulous House, beautiful decor, great rooms and then you wake up to the magnificient views over Loch Lomond to walk down to breakfast which is held in a well appointed breakfast room overing looking the Loch. To say the breakfast...

Me and my boyfriend stayed 2 nights in August 2012 and we would highly recommend it! Close to all amenities and train station with excellent views! Very romantic and the owners were fantastic hosts! Excellent Scottish breakfast. Local activities we did included a loch cruise, a walk to arrochar and bus journeys to nearby villages

What a lovely house this is and Paula is a very welcoming hostess, We had a large suite at the end of the house with its own seating area and kitchenette. Paula kindy explained to us how to operate the central heating in case it was cold and gave instructions on how to operate the shower which was obviously a...

Although rooms were a little outdated in terms of decor and furniture, the views from this b&b are truly exceptional. Very friendly hosts who were very happy to help and provide suggestions on how to enjoy our stay. If travelling by train beware the steep hill and check in times. Very convenient for loch cruises.

Overall good impression but lacked that special detail the price charged would have suggested. The lighting in our sitting room was very poor. Views overlooking the loch were great but the house was difficult to find and there were no restaurants open in the evening within walking distance. Be aware although the owner organized for us to be collected to...

At the end of a week trip around Scotland I thought we'd treat ourselves with a slightly more expensive B&B than we had been staying in before, and it was worth it. The room was large with a separate sitting area and had a stunning view over Loch Lomond (which was nice since the weather didn't really cooperate for walking...

We again stayed at Tarbet House on our way to Skye. Our first visit was four years ago. Paula remembered us and we had the same rooms as last time. They were clean and well furnished with a view to die for. Paula made us welcome with tea and coffee before showing us to our rooms. We had breakfast the...
