Drymen is a lovely village with a green, post office, and a choice of good pubs/dining. Braeside is right in the village. Colin and Scott are charming hosts. Our room was comfortable although let down a bit by the poor plumbing. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast in the company of the hosts and the other guests.

Thank you for your positive review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. Not sure what the issue was with the plumbing, sorry that you didn't raise it with us so we could try and resolve it. Good to know that you enjoyed the breakfast too. Look forward to seeing you again.

Colin and Scott are generous, caring hosts. Our small-ish room was comfy with a nice view. We enjoyed our stay, and appreciated the good care we received. Pretty, uncluttered interiors, without the frilly, Laura Ashley-ness of some B&B's. Nice morning breakfast, too. Recommended.

Thank you for your positive review. The rooms are generous when you consider it is an 1860s cottage and not a modern build. Glad you liked the decor of the rooms and the breakfast. Thank you for your recommendation and we look forward to seeing you again.

We stayed at the Braeside on our first day of hiking the West Highland Way. We arrived a bit early for afternoon check-in, but Colin welcomed us in and offered us tea and refreshments anyway. The guys are wonderful hosts and made us feel like welcome friends and honoured guests. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The shower/bath facilities...

Lovely one night stay while we were walking the West Highland Way. Clean, comfortable room with attractive decor and good shower. Excellent breakfast and very welcome pot of tea on arrival. Some interesting paintings as well and close to shops and pubs.

The owners are attentive and helpful . The room is fine, the shower a bit on the small side for a big guy . The house is opposite a supermarket and there are several pubs nearby . The Drymin inn offers live music on Sundays . Breakfast can be prepared with desired elements. The B & B has been visited...

Thank you for your review. The shower is a standard UK size and a good size for an en-suite in an 1860s cottage and not a modern build.

Scott and Colin proved to be both welcoming and very friendly hosts during our one night stay, greeting us with scones and coffee! It didn't matter that we were wet and had dirty walking boots on. Rooms were very comfy and clean. Breakfast was freshly made to order and delicious. Would highly recommend this B&B.

Great bnb, first time I've ever stayed at one of these style accommodations, the welcome was warm, the banter and chat was great. Cup of tea on arrival and promptly shown to the rooms. Great breakfast in the morning, very friendly place - feels quite homely. The only side note is that the wifi can be improved to make the...

Thank you for your very positive review. Following your comment we had a 'PC Doctor' in yesterday and we believe we have sorted the wifi, well at least until the village is on a faster fibre broadband connection. Thank you.

From the moment you step in you'll be welcomed. Cup of tea, keep your boots on its fine, here's where you might want to eat....etc. Great breakfast, nice comfy room. Tasteful decor if a little eclectic in parts...Silver Stags Head...really! Highly recommended for your first night on the WHA or if this in area. Plenty of places to eat nearby....though...

We stayed one night in this lovely small village and our only complaint is that we weren't staying longer. After three nights in a depressing B&B in Edinburgh we found our room at Braeside to be particularly bright, clean and comfortable.
