Thanks to Craig and his staff for great service. Can recommend the Baked Camembert (which my husband and I shared) followed by Sea Bass with lobster and prawn risotto. Fish and chips were also lovely.

My wife and I shared a 'sharing platter' yesterday. Service, food and quality was excellent. Much improved service from last visit. Unfortunately Santa left something sticking up the lum and fires could not be lit therefore dining area was quite cold. Temperature excluded, we did enjoy our lunch.

Great wee hotel with lovely friendly staff, very inviting bar with roaring fire nice to see the bar dog friendly too. We tried a few bars in balloch but always came back here due to the relaxed cosy atmosphere. Will definitely return.

We had a day out in Balloch and went to this hotel for a meal. It was busy but we were quickly served drinks and had our food order taken. The food was excellent. The bar and dining area were nicely decorated for Christmas and the old wooden beams and other features made it a nice place to relax over...

Such an authentic original venue. Had a delicious three course meal alongside a real log fire. One could choose from the standard menu or from a number of choices on the special Christmas menu. Will make sure that we visit this hotel restaurant next time we visit Scotland. Highly recommended!!

We put a bottle on the dressing table and in proceeded to slide off!!! We ordered fish and chips. If looked delicious on arrival. There was...

I have stayed at this hotel many times during the past few years. Let's start with it's location. It's a few minutes walk from both the bus and rail station. The trains into Glasgow run every 30 minutes and a day return after 9.30 is 5.80 with accompanying kids free. There are walks around the hotel through the park and...
