We visited Burnbrae for a one night stay over the festive period. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly owner Janice and shown to our very spacious room. The room was very comfortable and had everything in it you need (and more!). The location is fantastic, very close to the loch - any closer and you'd be in...

Great location on the shore of Loch Long, next door to the Village Inn which provides excellent food and drink and if you are lucky an evening with the locals and some music (we were lucky to be in the pub on a saturday to relish a good dinner, several beers, good company and an evening with Robert Carmichael). The...

We have just spent 3 nights at beautiful Burnbrae. We can only agree with all the positive previous reviews. Great care and attention has gone in to providing visitors with everything they could wish for, from a wonderful cooked breakfast to freshly laundered towels changed each day. Janice has gone out of her way to add lots of special touches,...

Spent one night here on our way south. Booked two days previously, with no recommendation so weren't sure what we'd get!! Shouldn't have worried. What a delight! There are only two rentable rooms and both of high quality. Could have got 4 people in our massive bed. In the room was a TV, stereo , and a DVD player which...

Booked here after reading wonderful reviews on both Tripadvisor and Booking.com. Janice, our hostess, couldn't be nicer. In our immaculately clean room, we found chocolates and sherry awaiting our return from the restaurant next door. Janice had taken the liberty of making a reservation there for us in the event we needed something to eat. Views from here are wonderful...

Our friendly hostess (Janice) welcomed us and started by asking what we would like for breakfast the next day. We opted for the full Scottish. The B&B is right next to The Village Inn, which does food and beer - 4 real ales on draft when we were there. The room was very well equipped - although the beds were...

My husband, myself and our dog stayed at Burnbrae as an overnight stop on our way up to Loch Ness on holiday but I wish we had been able to stay longer. From the moment we arrived Janice couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We had the double room which was absolutely beautiful and all the little extra...

Arrived 09.05.2015 to a very warm welcome from Janice, who showed us to our room which was spotless, spacious and comfortable. We ordered breakfast once arrived and checked in ready for the next morning. Went down for breakfast, helped ourselves to cereal etc, Janice then brought in our breakfasts which were delicious and plentiful. More toast, tea etc if required....
