I stayed here for one night on Bank Holiday Monday on our way back to York from the Isle of Skye. We were greeted by a friendly girl who soon got us checked in and to our warm, cosy, clean room. A table had been pre booked for us which was a god send as the place was extremely busy,...

My husband and I stayed at The Village Inn, Arrochar last weekend for an overnight and we loved it even more than the last time we visited! It's one of our favourite places to go and relax, enjoy beautiful views and scenery, lovely pub food and very friendly, welcoming staff. This time we got a room in the main house...

We visited the restaurant for lunch and the food was delicious, the staff were really friendly and the surroundings were lovely. Our table looked out over Loch Long. To finish off our perfect afternoon the owner offered us a lift back to our lodges a few miles away.... above and beyond and very much appreciated! We will definitely be back...

Overnight stop on the way up from England to catch the Mull ferry in Oban. Good beer, rooms clean and tidy, food good. Great location On the whole the staff were friendly, except for a chap I took to be the manger/owner - quite abrupt twice - perhaps he should stay out if sight and not venture behind the bar:)

Thank you taking the time to review us. It is always great to receive feedback from our guests. I am sorry that you felt the manager was abrupt as this certainly would of not been intentional. I do hope that this will not put you off visiting us again in the future. Kind Regards

This is one of the most pleasant pubs we have stayed at. Our room (which was well laid out and spotlessly clean) overlooked the loch and very comfortable. The landlord and his team worked hard to make our one night stay enjoyable and both the dinner and Scottish breakfast were tasty and filling. Well stocked bar with local beers and...

We had a spacious room with a large bed and a brand new en suite bathroom. There was a fantastic view of Loch Long and the mountains. The bar sells local craft beers and a range of single malt whiskies at reasonable prices. The dinner menu is varied and the quality of the food is excellent. If anything, the descriptions...

We stayed at another hotel and visited The Village Inn for dinner. As I am a vegitarian who requires a gluten free diet, I was delighted to find out they had a gluten free menu. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the catch of the day fish and hand cut chips. We found the staff to be very attentive and helpful. We...

Beautiful modern and spotlessly clean rooms, for a very reasonable price. The rooms were far better than many city hotels for a fraction of the price. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Food was good, although we were disappointed that the weekday set menu advertised on their website was not actually available, forcing us to purchase al-a-carte. Good selection of beers....

Thank you for taking the time to review us. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay. Please accept my sincere apologies that the Dine Out Menu was not available. I am unsure as to why this would be but I will investigate this as it should not of been the case. I do hope that this will not put...

Whilst staying at a nearby site, we visited The Village Inn (as it was recommended) for lunch and as we were so impressed by the friendly atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings and the great food, (not to forget the lovely mocha coffee) we decided to book for dinner as well where the same ingredients (but different food ofcourse) provided us with...
