A great night in the drovers , basic pub fare but pleasant staff and great atmosphere. Room was fine not what you would expect from the outside . T. V on the wall and comfortable bed .Great breakfast in a very interesting dining room .The Drovers is quirky and interesting and very lively a pleasant change from the norm .

We stopped off here for Sunday lunch last week. The place is certainly full of character and we enjoyed walking around to see all the stuffed animals and spooky looking pictures! Lunch was nice; I thoroughly enjoyed the macaroni cheese. Would have been nice for non guests to be able to wander upstairs for a look. Will certainly come back...

Came here looking for the 1844 Inverarnan Canal that was built to bring travellers to this 1705 dated coaching inn. The building looks to be on its last legs with broken windows and an air of decay however it's unique, the staff were efficient if not friendly and the Sunday roast was great if a little cold. They serve good...

We visited here on November 15 for a girly night away staying in the lodges, bed and breakfast. We also had dinner, which was DELISH! The nicest steak pie I've ever had, and so so reasonably priced, about £8 or £10 at most. The breakfast was also gorgeous. The bar manager Bren was an absolute delight and could not do...

Welcoming Staff and not a bad bar area, they welcomed dogs too which was a plus. Couldnt start a tab which even leaving a card which required each round and lunch to be paid for separately. The food was sadly very average. I had the 'world famous' steak pie. The puff pastry top was dry and overlooked and the steak...

While driving from Glencoe to Gatwick in Scotland, right near Loch Lomond, we spotted the Drovers Inn. The building was interesting, and we were hungry. They satisfied all our needs. I had my Guinness and some good food, and everyone with me had something. The building is from the 1700's, and they have some interesting antiques on display as well...

This was the third time we had used the Drovers Inn for a stop-over on the way up to the Highlands. The first time we stayed we loved the character and the atmosphere. We excused any cracks in the visit as it was fun to stay, it really was a find. Unfortunately as we have revisited you just seem to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located at the very top of Loch Lomond, The Drovers Inn is steeped in three centuries of Scottish tradition. In fact, Rob Roy himself has enjoyed hospitality at this world-reknowned hotel, bar and restaurant! Our residents vary from those who are stopping-over on their west highland way adventure, to those who are staying purely for the good food and entertainment. The bar regularly hosts local musicians and guests and guaranteed a lively time on Friday and Saturday nights. Come in for a heat - and stay for the warmth. ... more   less
