Booked in for an overnight stay, found the staff lacking in customer service and a smile, bar the girl working reception on sunday morning February 26th who was lovely. I found the hotel in general dirty , housekeeping needs seeing to as it was lacking, breakfast was ok but again a smile goes a long way. I know I didn't...

We were gifted an itison voucher from our children at Christmas 2016. The voucher was for a double room with dinner bed and breakfast with a bottle of wine. On phoning to book our stay I was told that there were no Friday nights available at the hotel. I was told we would have to stay midweek. I explained that...

I bought a deal on 5pm and then tried to cancel after reading the reviews of the hotel, the hotel said it was too late - they would have been better to let me cancel because this is the first bad review I've written on tripadvisor. There was constantly someone smoking outside the front door, the room was tired, the...

poor impressions on the staffing as i didnt find a single member of staff who was british never mind Scottish, surely a major appeal of a location and establishment is the local knowledge and personality, the food was at best fair, with very small portions , a starter of 2 very small haggis balls, around the size of a ping...

Have just returned from an Ulsterbus tour staying in the Arrochar Hotel . The staff were very pleasant and obliging. On the first morning for breakfast we were told breakfast would be served for 43 guests at 8.30 Imagine 43 guests queuing up .After mentioning to the dining room manager about this problem it was solved as I told him...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Excellent value for money. Room overlooking loch was a bonus. Staff were all kept very busy as hotel was full but still had time to make our stay pleasant. This was our second stay here and would go again. Food excellent.

Having stayed overnight we thought the room was compact , clean and adequate which afforded views over Loch Long. However there appeared to be an odour in the room which we could'nt attribute the cause of. Having received this overnight stay (including Evening Dinner ,Breakfast and a Bottle of Wine) as a gift in the form of a voucher I booked...
