We went to this hotel with National Express and as a base for getting around its great. We had the advantage of a bus on hand but more of that later. Our room overlooked the loch and although the weather was very overcast it was lovely waking up to mountains and water outside the window. Our room, although small, was...

Just got back from the most enjoyable 4 day stay with National holidays. From the moment my mum & I arrived, we were met by the very Scottish spoken (manager) Gary, who explained everything we needed to know. No waiting around for keys to our rooms. Reception staff very nice & friendly. We had an upgrade room overlooking picturesque Loch...

This hotel is situated in an absolutely beautiful spot, overlooking Loch Long and surrounded by beautiful mountains, the scenery is breathtaking. The hotel is clean and comfortable but is in need of some attention. A lot of the rooms have been refurbished, but there is still much to do. Our room was newly decorated, very pleasant, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom....

We have just recently returned from a last minute National Holidays 2 night break at the Claymore Hotel. We arrived around 5pm and check in was smooth and prompt. The wifi is only available in the reception area and bar. Our room was on the lower ground floor (318) with a walk in shower and small flat screen TV and...

Overlooking Loch Long, in a beautiful location, we received a warm Scottish welcome from the duty manager. The en-suite in my single room was very small but the shower was excellent with a powerful spray and plenty of hot water. The small old TV in the room was poor with only 4 channels (BBC1, BBC2, STV & ITV2+1). Dinner was...

Have just returned from a National Holidays Weekend in Arrochar. The Hotel was lovely, the staff where very helpful and pleasant. The room was basic but very clean. The location of the Hotel is brilliant, we were fortunate in the weather, the views were absolutely stunning. I would definitely visit again, hopefully in the not too distant future.
