We had a fantastic two night stay at the end of October and couldn't have been happier with the accommodation. Our room was huge with a beautiful view of the water. Our hosts Jim and Margaret are such lovely people and made us feel so welcome. To top it all off the breakfast was absolutely first class.

We were given a very warm welcome by Jim and Margaret and the rooms were large and quite comfortable with a nice view of the harbour. We were told that the new owner has plans to invest in the property, so as it has a lot of potential it is sure to be a popular destination in future.

I booked 2 members of staff to stay in this hotel early October. I had a few queries after making the booking and Gopi responded straight away in a very pleasant manner. Nothing was too much. He couldn't have been more helpful. My 2 colleagues had left some belongings in the hotel and Gopi delivered them to the client my...

We stayed here last week, for three nights. We are well experienced hotels and B and B guests, and always look for the best. Our room had a stunning view of the Bay and harbour. Jim and Margaret were the perfect hosts, friendly and thoroughly efficient. Jim's breakfasts were simply superb, wonderfully served by Margaret. We look forward to our...

Welcomed by the lovely couple who now run Cannon House on behalf of the new owner. We visited toward the end of September and were a little concerned having read some negative comments. Lovely sea view room, delicious breakfast, cooked to order, local kippers for my husband. Obviously very a very experienced couple who have already changed the way the...

Three of us stayed at Cannon House for a night in late September 2016. The hotel is newly re-opened under new ownership and management. It's sort of a hotel/bed and breakfast hybrid. The manager and his wife are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from the ferry. Our room was large, had a...

My boyfriend booked an overnight stay here. He paid for one of the sea view rooms which I believe was a premium room. Massive room with a piano, lovely views but sadly was very tired looking. The room was very dated, stains on the carpet, smallest tv I've ever seen in this day and age. For the price we paid...
